So a couple of weeks ago my trunk popped open a couple of times when I was pulling into my work parking lot. I figured maybe I was sitting on my key. Well just now in my garage, it kept popping open consistently. I would shut it and a few seconds would go by then it would pop open again. I finally just had to leave it open. I did make sure both keys were not near the car and it still happened. It sounds like the relay is clicking.

A few things to consider,

1) Both key batteries are low (I've been lazy about changing them)
2) I was slightly rear ended back in October but it just started popping open recently.

Happen to anyone else?

In the meantime, lockout your trunk with the little key thing that slides into the remote. That should stop the trunk release from working.
