2009 c63 whistle sound from under the hood
Most of the posts said this sound was caused by bad pcv or breather. However it was said if you remove the dipstick the sound would go away . when i remove the dipstick the sound remains. When i shut the engine off the sound persists for another 5 seconds after key is in off position. Any idea?

When the car is warm, spray brake clean along where the intake mani meets the head. If the tone or idle changes, the gasket and bolts are bad. Or maybe even just see if any are loose. I had a few that were only finger tight. Do NOT retorque though. They will snap since they are single use torque to yield bolts

Did it 4 years ago along with my PCV valve, don't remember. An hour or 2? If you're in there do your PCV as well.
