Complete Custom C63 Look. Thoughts?
Hello Guys,
Below is my custom C63 I completely did myself. I'm not going to lie this is the most satisfying work I have done since I started doing vinyl wrapping back in Feb of 2018. The car is completely vinyl wrapped except some pieces listed below. I wanted the look to feel "custom" & let me tell you I think this look is FAR better than when I did Black Chrome. The MB logo is original but the side stripes are custom made and cut with the help of knifeless tape. I kept 1 inch of gap in between the AMG stripes I created and kept a 70 degree angle. Honestly, if I were to redo them I would only do .5 inch in between. & yes this is my own vehicle . Tell me what you guys think, all feedback is welcome! As I'm still going to be adding some more to the car! Heres a list of the material and work:
Vinyl Color: Chalk White by KPMF
Side Stripe: Brushed Black Aluminum by Avery Dennison
Window Trim, Fog Lights, Antenna, Wheels & Mirrors: Powder Coated in Gloss Black
Interior: Textured Carbon Fiber by Avery Dennison
Tailights: LUXE Dark Smoke tint
Calipers: Orange Duplicolor
MB Logo: Satin Black by Avery Dennison
Spoiler, Diffuser, & Front Lip: CNAutofans
Why not add some MODs :
American Racing Headers
ROW airboxes
Eurocharged v7 tune
e85 flex fuel kit
More to come...
By the way if anybody is located in the Bay Area hit me up with a dm if you want any work done! I can show you a lot of work that I have done & I'll hook you up!

I don't hate on anybodies style, you did a good job on the vinyl.
But all i see is alot of tasteless mods that scream "look at me" sorry not a fan of it.

Thank you for the input of the vinyl job part honestly that is the most important and only thing I care about. But for the "tasteless" mods are you talking about the Mercedes logo and the front headlight eye lids?

I'm not much for modding, but other than the Mercedes logo, I think it works and looks good! Congrats!

There are some cool touches, I like it.
I was wondering what you meant about the black chrome? I'm planning on wrapping my other car in it so just curious.
If you were originally trying to do the black pieces in Black chrome, probably would have not looked as good...

My wrap before was in Black chrome. Nice color, but hard to maintain. I would highly suggest ceramic coating it if you do. I only switched up the wrap because I wanted to go freestyle on this time and show the potential of wrapping. Here is a pic of the old wrap:

My original idea was the wrap with just the mid stripe. I added the logo because my buddy just got a US cutter so we tested it out for the decal and ended up liking it. But I do agree the logo was a little too freestyle haha. Still not the final look though and thank you!

Everything except the badges and the body of the car is powder coated. If anything, the only thing I would actually wrap besides the body of the car are the door handles. Everything else, powder coat as it holds longer and has better finish.

You know what at first I didnt know how the hell you guys were getting a “cop” car out of this because I live in Cali. But now I realize what you guys mean LOL. It doesnt really bother me cause tbh I didnt expect much of the crowd here to be appreciative of the creative side of things. But still, you guys dont have to be such dicks about it. Thank you for the idea though that actually wouldnt be so bad for a subcontract

Hard to maintain from dirt? Its going on a weekend/summer/low mile car.
Also how did you wrap the driver's side trim where the seat/memory controls are? Did you pull the panels?
I know it's ratchet to do it without removing, but I've got the rest done pretty solid but I cannot get that piece.
