OEM Illuminated door sills, what's the available logo?

As the title says, the OEM for the C63 is only available illuminated for the front doors, for the Sedan, and only with Mercedes Benz while logo?
Is there an AMG Logo illuminated OEM door sill?
And is coding needed? If yes, that huge OEM price includes the coding by the dealer?

I have OEM AMG logo illuminated door sills in my coupe, I got them on ebay and installed by my service shop. I dont believe any coding was required. It would surprise me if they never made AMG logo sills for the sedan, although I believe you are correct that they would only be for the front doors.

507 had illuminated AMG door sills as an option on the sedan, I have them in mine, it was a VPC installed option 120, so they just added them after the car was built and no coding was required - fronts only.

Order guide attached.

Looks like you need these parts
190WIRING HARNESS
FOR RETROFITTING ILLUMINATED DOOR SILLS001A 20 454 032 07 -€5.89

195DISTRIBUTOR BLOCK
FOR RETROFITTING ILLUMINATED DOOR SILLS 12X2/1X3PIN001A 00 454 682 40 -€10.11

and then the sills may be these part numbers

Looks like it, coupe lists these 2 part numbers that if you search are the AMG illuminated sill and is a different part number than above.

250 COVER RAIL
ENTRANCE,OUTSIDE LEFT 001 A 20 468 067 35
250 COVER RAIL
ENTRANCE,OUTSIDE RIGHT 001 A 20 468 074 35

The saloons also had the metal sills in the rear (non illuminated) to match the front. They had no logo, and were plain steel

2013 c63
So FWIW, I pulled the trim on my 2013 C63 (w204) and it is pre wired for the illuminated sills. The little plug is sitting right to the inside of the floor pan. I actually took a gamble and ordered a set of new OEM c63 (w205) "AMG" illuminated sills because they are available for much cheaper than the W204 ones. When they come in, I'll let you know if the connectors work and if they fit as replacements.

w205 sills didn't work. They are quite a bit smaller and the connectors are different (if they had normal wires I would have just spliced them in, but they have ribbon cable) I ended up ordering a set of w204 used ones off of ebay, from Europe.

Did your sills from Europe end up working? All plug and Play?

That's a shame, did you see if you have the connectors at the sills. I'm trying to figure out if I have them without removing the sills and panels.

so I had a look and my 2013 C63 also has that blue connector sitting at the sill for plug and play, delighted to see it as this means they are plug and play, correct?

Hey, did you need the wiring loom becuase you didn’t have the blue connectors when you pulled up the carpet? The reason why I ask is I have just pulled up my carpet and I have the blue connector so I’m wondering does this mean it’s plug and play for me?

Turns out it is plug and play if you have the blue plug.

Does anyone know what the lighting element is? I have a set that came from an R231 and I am trying to measure them with a multimeter. They do not look like LEDs from the multimeter. They might be electroluminescent for flat, broad light source, but those require an AC or PWM type drive signal. I hesitate to hook up 12V and "see what happens".

Late reply, but R23# sills should be EL panels. If memory serves they should look like ~15nF capacitor. Do not hook up 12VDC. The drive is an AC-ish signal. You can search EL driver circuits to get more detail.
