OEM rotor rust
It is not the first time, the rust on the OEM rear rotors is starting to bother me. What do you guys use to remove them and prevent them from coming back beside for taking them our and paint them?

Present: 2019 C43 Estate
Part of the reason I upgraded to the Racing Brake rotors. I hate rusty rotors as well.

paint the hats with brake caliper paint... problem goes away...

of course clean up existing rust first.

Then when you replace rotors in future for maintenance check out ones that are plated or painted already - ( I hope they are out there I have not looked yet)

That is brilliant powdercoat them rust color and then they never (or always) look rusty.
