Very awesome build. After reading this thread and doing research into the differences in M156 engines. From my research including checking part #'s with dealers the 507 and the black series engine block share the same part #, but there are the only 2 to share that part #. Is there something else that is added to make it different? The part # for the black series block is 156-010-98-00 which shows that it is only for cars with code P61 (grand edition) or P98 (black series). The part # for the regular block ends in 15-00 I believe.

Black series conversion info

Mr. Dale...been looking at these for forums for months and finally settled on a black series conversion. I was going to buy a Alanite Magno black series but am really looking to build something killer and didn't feel right modifying an actual black series car. So, I have an low mileage (22K) C63 507 edition. My parts list of go fast goodies is long but I wont bore you with that list yet. The reason for my message is that I am collecting parts for the wide body conversion. I have an OEM black series front and rear bumpers but need the long list of parts to put this thing together. Wondering if you can help? I want to get the full aero package as well. Just for kicks...this car will be built....twin turbos etc...thank you

I'd be interested in a full parts list of a black series conversion as well if anyone has it just to price out vs an aftermarket kit .

Years ago without the £7000 carbon wing the full OEM kit was just over £20,000 as I know someone that did it to an performance pack car. I bet now that figure is closer to £30,000. All the rep kits do not fit good and all are fiberglass.

One guy here in the UK bought the best rep kit he could find and he said it cost more money than the kit getting it to fit right which he would not do again.

Personally I think people should just extend the stock fenders by a shop that is good with aluminium, I don’t see the point trying to make it look like something it isn’t. The rear axle, front/rear track width, cooling and brakes are totally different than any other W204 C63.
