How much space with baby seat?

Hey all.

I am looking into buying a 2008 or 2009 AMG C63. However I need to be sure I can fit my newborn and an adult comfortable in the car before I do so.

I was wondering how much space is left in the front seat with a rear facing baby seat installed? Is an adult going to be able to fit in the passenger seat with a baby seat installed behind it?
Or, if the seat is installed in the middle, are you still able to get the front seats back or do they end up hitting the baby seat?

If anyone has photos that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I never had any issues, my daughter is now 6 and other than her kicking the back of the front seats there isn’t really any issue

Awesome, did you ever have a rear facing seat installed? How much leg room was left up front?

Awesome thanks! I was thinking it might push someone right up against the dashboard. Cheers!

Rear-facing is fine in a sedan. Try and find a more compact unit rather than those all-in-ones.

The reason I am in a 2012 C63 coupe was because I needed a 'family' car. I am able to fit a rear facing car seat and my wife can still sit comfortably with some room. She is 5' 2" so YMMV.

My car seat is not a compact one. It is one with a base that snaps into a stroller.

With a forward facing seat I easily fit a 6 year old with much more room.

I have a bulky rear facing child seat in my sedan, I can fit it in the middle of the back seats and it clears ok. I can't fit it behind the passenger seat without it being fully forward (making it impossible for someone to sit in).
