Whom sells ceramic coated headers?

Hi guys, looking to purchase/install headers in our c63 believe we want to go with ARH or MBH catted (both look to be quality products) but it doesn't look like either of them offer ceramic coatings. I'm after the coating for heat reasons, down here in Fit'sts always scorching and from what I've read it's important since the extra heat from the exhaust tubes don't help at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our headers use the highest quality stainless steel. Headers with thinner wall thickness on there tubing as used my other companies will has less heat retention inside the tubing than ours. Meaning other headers on the market that use lesser quality or thinner stainless steel will be more prone to spilling heat from the headers into the engine bay. High quality stainless steel is a poor conductor of heat so it tends to keep the heat from the engine inside the tubing (where you want it). In a nutshell, you can coat our headers, but it is not needed and the benefits most likely will be negligible and not worth the cost.

Thanks for the response, honestly I do not know if there is much of a difference and the reason I'm asking. Only thing I've noticed now with my second w204 C63 is they can get heat soaked pretty easily especially in hotter climates even with stock headers. Does it affect performance? Again I do not know, just going by what makes sense especially having all that amount of surface on each tube one would only think it would increase anything around under the hood temps up greatly. Have any of your customers mentioned extra heat from going long tubes on these W204 C63's or is this the first time it has been questioned here on these forums? Has any of your customer ceramic coated your headers? Thanks again MBH for your help.

Swain coating might be worth the effort - while i didn't do my ARH's, I did it on the Labrees for my RS6 given how much of a heat sink that was wit the tight bay and the turbo's ( as well as a snow's kit)...... but an E85 kit will likely help as much with cooler temps and add a nice chunk of HP, even more if tuned correctly ....

No problem, glad I can help. All of our testing and development is done here in ungodly hot Phoenix AZ. On my C63 that was a daily driver, I seen no issues with heat soak. In fact we would alwasy be shocked at how soon you touch the exhaust after driving with our headers. Other cars would have to have fans placed on them to cool the exhaust down when it was up on the lift. I cant remember how soon, but it was a fraction if the time compared to other cars we were working on.
Another point to mention, running cats will increase engine temp because it cannot be evacuated the hot exhaust gasses as efficiently. So that is something to keep in mind. You can for sure get our headers coated and it will not void your warranty.

Hear you, I ran two different DP's on my rs7 one was APR and the other a prototype from Armytrix which was ceramic coated. We did a lot of data logging with CC tuning and they noticed multiple area's where temps were lower. Not saying this isn't due to other reasons but its interesting to learn its not an option with all listed lt's on the market for w204 c63's. All good I figured I'd ask.

I got my MBH headers coated with Swaintech's White Lightening. Very thick coating and looks great. Very happy. Not cheap tho.

That's the kind of coating I'm after. Wishing some of these header company's offer it as an additional price option. http://swaintech.com/race-coatings/r...aust-coatings/

Coating always a good idea esp with LTH on a car with a super cramped engine bay that will see sustained high loads. Had my ARH LTH + X-pipe and tubes completely coated from exhaust manifold up to OEM Resonator by Swain Tech (White Lightning). It is the thickest coating available, and very likely the most effective at thermal management.
