Interchillers/killer chillers, Larger oil intercooler - which is better?

Having had the ESS tuning supercharger installed, am looking at interchillers/killer chillers and getting slightly confused as to which is the better option for next stage with regards to larger oil intercooler?

I am not tracking my car, mainly daily driving with occasional high speed event.

Seems like fi interchillers and killer chiller work on the same principle, but price difference is massive.

Can i have some general consensus please?

Thank you in advance.

They are both basically the same thing ... if you are just going around town either will work... if you want to do track runs or long high speed runs you’ll want a bypass kit or drag kit.. but again I think they both have them as options

I believe it’s so you still have ac fluid cooling the intercooler if you have the cabin ac shut off or on the track when the ac compressor would normally shut off during high rpm

Why would you go the KillerChiller route over meth?

I prefer the ac route... no tanks to fill or monitor and I’ve seen it cool the supercharger so much that it’s cool to the touch after a few runs where everything else under hood is super hot

You can use meth and not tune for it. It will provide a nice boost in octane as well. Killer chiller and wmi are a dynamic duo.

Does anyone know on an e55 if the ac compressor locks out below a certain ambient temp? Have a intterchiller with no heat exchangers now when it cold out my Iat are high and it seems the ac is not running
