722.6 trans swap possibility?

I'm not saying this trans is bad, I love it when taking back twisty roads or road course style driving. It just doesnt perform when drag racing and with swapping a 722.6 and building or upgrading it I could get th ed best of both worlds. I fully agree a stock .6 would be a slug. But building it and upgrading the valve body I'm sure could bring it on par pretty easily.
You wan't a drag car? Remove the components that weren't designed for it.

The possibility of the swap was just an idea that still could possibly help the car perform all around. But most people get apprehensive and think the mct,dct are the holy grail.

I personally think the mcat and the 722.9 are kinda **** but they are both light years ahead of the dinosaur 722.6
a sequential shift transmission would be ideal both for speed and power holding potential but you are looking at a pretty hefty price. Definitely in the group that thinks a transmission upgrade is something that this platform could use I just think the 722.6 isn’t it

It's also a 6 cylinder with a giant turbo that doesn't make the same kind of instant torque a blown v8 makes. If wiestec's transmission doesnt hold up, maybe try someone else? 3 of them.... kinda makes you wonder if they should rename it. "bulletproof" lol ok

give it another 10yrs, we'll probably have transbrakes too. 722.6 rated for 900nm, 722.9 mct and v12 rated 1000nm. There are so few people having issues with them there hasn't been a need. supply and demand. not worth anyones time if only 5 people want or need it. meanwhile in 55k land....
