I will do HMS kit. Overall really looking for the cost of the fender install and re-spray of car. Do you have a general number of the cost you paid? I always see post but no one ever talks cost of labor & paint.

Agreed wit the charger you need the fenders. I am prepared for wheel cost as I want 3 piece wheels. 19x12 in the rear.

Thanks!

I wouldn’t even bother fitting a charger without this. My car hooks incredibly well considering the power but it is still a 700hp motor driving the rear wheels, so it wants to break free. I can’t imagine how useless it might feel without wider fenders, or at least drag radials/high performance track tyres. Some guys have been inventive and have managed 285/295 with carefully selected custom offset 10” wheels on standard body, so that’s another option.

After a lot of time and patience, my car is done. I went with the GBG rear fender kit and couldn’t be happier with the results. I was told this is the first C63 in the U.S to have this kit.

Looks great! Excellent kit!
Well done on being the first to have had this excellent rear arch extension.
Next step is to invest on some proper set of wheels!

With the rear arch extended, you can run 11.5J rim ET30 305/30/19 rears!

Thats my rear set up.
Fronts 245/35/19 ET40.

The car has 19x8.5 ET40 front and 19x11 ET30 rear. It has not been lowered yet either

In that case, why are you only running 265 to 275 rears? 11J is good up to 295 or even 305 max.

I was unaware that size tire would work. This was an experiment for me. I will definitely be running wider tires next time around.

Did you have any issues with that size tire rubbing the fender liner?

Heck I'd think you could fit a 325...... does the kit use the BS inner fender liners like HMS ? Assuming you hit the offset perfectly you might even be able to get wider......

The factory fender liners are still used. The extended area is just filled in

Very noice!!

If I were you I would take them tires off today. The whole point, or one of the key points of doing wide body is to be able to run wide wheels and tires. No point in stretching them as the previous gurus auggested.

Thanks genius. The new wheels are much wider than the stock wheels. I played it safe this time around just to make sure the tires would clear both front and rear. As I have stated, I will be running wider tires in the future now that I know

No issue at all. Front offsets are Meng's well known HRE Wheels setup offset. Sits flush.
