Getting MFactory Helical LSD Installed tomorrow.
For reference / perspective sake, I have 2012 480hp performance package plus C63 (strangely specd without an LSD). No tune. No mods what so ever (need to sort out traction first). I have Ventus S1 Evo 2 on the wheels (got em with the car). They are okay. They slip very easy in the rain when they are cold. I have however taken them around Mt Nebo and Glorius and really pushed them around the corners [Sport handling mode(not traction fully off, but half off), and in S+]. They hold really good around the corners I wont lie. Its the off the line traction that lacks. But again, with this much toque in first gear its hard not to spin any tyre. The one time I drag raced at a green light the wheels spun all the way to third gear
before they managed to catch the road. 235/35/19 Front, 255/30/19 Rear. When the tires run out I will be getting PSS4s 255 Front, 275 Rear. Should be a proper unit after that.I will be reporting on here once the differential has been installed. Please comment on my decisions here... Cheers
in any case, something is better than nothing. cheers to the purchase! let us know how it performs in the turns!

. My research suggested that the Mfactory diff is just as good, using better stronger material as a matter of fact. Anyway, again, I will have to see how it goes and report back. Did it through DiffLab.com.auCheers brother.

I had Wavetrac fitted to my old LS2 Senator and loved it so that was the first one I looked into after pricing a factory unit.
I could have bought a 2nd hand one but didn't want to trust it with the power these cars put thru it.
I actually could have imported a Quaife from UK slightly cheaper than the Wavetrac but prefer the way the Wavetrac engages.

Going around corners feels smoother. Before the install it felt like the car was reducing engine power around corners/hindering acceleration. That might just be in my mind. However, when traction control is semi off, the car just drifts so easily/freely. Previously I was never able to do this (maybe poor drift skills). Now the best part, car has better traction on take off. Planting foot on take off, very little traction loss, traction control keeps in very quick, and car catches. Am yet to test without traction control, and with holding revs before take off. Otherwise I'm loving it so far.
