My stacks have no lip on the inside that will defeat the purpose of the stack. There will be turbulence on vrps stacks.

skratch..any issue with material used with heat and degradation? I see you have used a silicon hose to keep it in place. Just wondering about degradation due to heat etc. sent you a pm but not sure if you got it.
No, The Stacks will have a ID of 85mm at the top. When slipped over the 82mm TB there will be 1.5mm that the stack will not overlap. This is less than if you were to say put a coupler on a throttlebody or a sleeve with a clamp. it will have 0 effect on performance in any way. the Stack will not restrict any flow, it will be larger than the 82s, but exact on the 85s.
You can clearly see a gap in this stack, the press on will sit flush. im sure these work fine, but based on the way these are assembled unless they are glued i can see the stack popping out of the coupler.

There is no gap i just through that on to take a quick picture. they sit flush without anything showing from tb to stack.

What are you using to keep your stacks from falling off the throttle body? Your right people can buy what they want but this is my throttle body thread.

Sorry I missed getting back to you. I had a major tear in my shoulder and spent the day in the er and been in pain for about a week now.
I can still barely move my arm but I'm getting better. I'm using samco hoses for the way to get these on flush. I tried adhesives and glue but that won't hold up. Plus you risk that stuff getting inhaled in your engine.
With the samco hose its on really tight and might actually stay on with out a clamp but on my car im running them with clamps to make sure they stay on..
this plastic is rated for 300 degrees and it won't get anywhere near that temperature in the intake manifold
You guys should see what I'm working on lol let's just say our manifolds bottle neck is having 2 throttle bodies jammed in the middle of it.
I dont know why nobody has made something to move the tbs outside from the manifold yet.
Ours are aluminum and will require a press to push them on. You should use Loctite assembly lubricant when pressing them on, They will be extremely difficult to remove once pressed on.
There will be no more of an edge than pictured here.

There is no edge that is the same tb as picture above at another angle.
