Who's in helping develop 82mm throttle body stacks?
I found a guy that does solid works 3d scanning in cad and will get me the file to print on 3d carbon on a 3d printer.
Its adding up fast but if we can get at least 5-10 guys to chip in 100 bucks I can get the ball rolling and then another 100-150 to get them printed.
I might also just buy the hardware but it's easier to have a company do it that is familiar with carbon printing.
I will be giving him my OEM stacks that he will scale in cad to fit on 82mm throttle bodies so they will be like oem.

Check out these guys https://www.emachineshop.com/ They can 3D print, or maybe would be better to have them injection molded which they can do for durability being in the intake, they can even mill them from aluminum if you want. Once you have the cad, you can upload and they will price for you and they tell you how much in different volume purchases.

Count me in!! I'm getting ready to do a Rear Main Seal as well the whole of my rear Suspension. I'm also considering the 82mm TB and maybe a little ECU Tune, nothing big due to my E63 being NA.

Its alot of money for me to invest upfront guys. I think vrp already did the cad work and if he wants to give us or sell us the file would help out.
Needs to be printed in a carbon that can take the heat and I found a few places that can do it. Again at a huge cost to me.

Honestly skratch, just get a set of aluminum stacks welded on. It’s cheap and easy and extremely durable. I like your idea, but not sure it’s worth all the brain damage and $ for no advantage/benefit that I can think of. Something about solving for a problem that doesn’t exist... you know?
Theres even a guy on IG who will spin custom aluminum stacks to your exact spec for cheap (posted in the other thread).

I have a setup I'm going to run on my car but it includes using clamps to hold them in place and I would never sell that to anyone because of the chances something might happen .

what are the exact measurements of the outside diameter? if they're exactly 82mm you could use these. if they're slightly off a little machine work or simply a flame torch and press fit would be ideal.

I cant tell you guys how much of a driving difference the 82 TB's make you feel. But the C63 is a whole new animal. Recommend them to any bolt on C63 owner.
