507 Edition smoking under the hood..
Hey Folks,
I have a 2014 507 edition that now lives in a very dry, temperature controlled garage in Colorado. Unfortunately it only gets driven about 800 miles a year. At the end of last month I drove it quite a bit, lots of good highway driving and mountain roads. Yesterday I started it up after about a month of sitting and drove it to a local gas station. When I arrived there was a considerable of oil smoke coming out from under the front hood on the driver side. My guess is that I have a bad valve cover gasket or something.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

you need to get more miles on it, or at least get it to running temp every month...... seals don't like sitting.... I'm thinking you're correct on the gasket.... I bought a super low mile RS6 years ago that was seldom driven and came from a southern state, and had to R & R most everything that was a gasket to get it to run correctly or not drip oil....

Probably a valve cover seal, drivers side one seems to be the one that goes first for some reason, pop out the airbox on that side and it is easy to get a good look, usually leaks in the lower rear corner.
