Front passenger seat wont move forward&backwards

Hi,
I hope somebody can shed some light on this. I have a C63 AMG 2013 coupe, the front passager seat will not move forward or backwards when using the easy-entry feature on the side of the seat which is meant to make it easier for passengers to get into and out of the rear compartment. Both the front seats are fully electric, and the passager seat can still be moved into any position from the controls on the door handle, memory function still works, heated seat function still works, however it fails to move backwards or forwards to allow a passengers to get into the rear.

Can anybody please help with this?

There are multiple electrical plugs under the drivers seat. Unplug and replug every one of them. Should fix it.

Dear Blkrokt,

Many thanks for your suggestion I shall try this fix hope it works. I took the car to the garage today to a garage who told me that it required an entirely new control unit which is below the seat, they quoted over £1000 just for the part?

Dear James, I had to replace the control unit under the seat.

thanks !

mine was a faulty sensor in the head restraint, but it’s seemingly sorted itself out now which is really strange !!

2014 C63 507 EDITION

I'm having the same issue with the passenger side, any thoughts?
I unplug and plug a few time but no differences, could be a blown fuse?

2015 S63 Coupe

I have the same problem with my 2015 S63. I brought the car to Benztec at Bellflower. They reset the seats using a tool and it works again. I have tried so many other methods myself previously and it all didn't work. I recommend trying this method!
