Has this ever happened to your AMG?
I own a 2012 C63 base Coupe. 105k miles on it. The other day I was going down the free way when suddenly:
“Inoperative, See operators Manual”
I pulled to the shoulder, the car was idling like crazy, RPMs would dance between 1k-2k, wouldn’t accelerate passed 10 miles an hour, then would limp heavy, power breaking was gone, steering I was still able to do, but that’s about it.
Had it towed home, a friend of mine checked the codes and it read “P2111” and it seems it’s the Throttle Body Actuator that is “Stuck Open”
I was able to turn it on after this happened, it would idyl roughly for about a minute and shut off, till eventually now if I try to turn it on, it fires up then immediately shuts back off.
So my question is, Has anyone you ever experienced this, or had it happen to them? If so, was it the throttle bodies or a wiring harness malfunction? And could it be other things as well?
Also, could it be something else was damaged given it would at least turn on roughly before, as opposed to now just firing up and not a second later it shuts back down?
Any feedback is highly highly appreciated, it’s been a depressing few days without my baby to say the least. You guys know how it is.

. guess 3D printing is clearly not better. it would seam that the 3D print leaves hundreds of seam lines that paired with harmonics and vibration can snap along those lines.
