I had the same problem in 2016 when I was buying. Recently I brought this up in a thread where someone was asking for header advice and MBH responded super quick here saying they answer e-mails. But it looks like I was not alone in my experience, and not much has changed. For $3000, I expect a response within 24 hours (either from a voicemail or an email) unless an extenuating circumstance has come up (family emergency, etc).

That’s everytime I have a quick question. Or if I’m trying to buy something small. Get an admin then or do an auto reply for your time away.

Seriouly WTF......."I'm away....with my family..." aweeee how sweet. Good for you. No one is telling you not to spend time with your family. You sell a product at a high cost, you leave your office, Get some admin support, its freekin 2020....not 1952 ma and pa gas station.

I am available 8 hours a day, every day of the week for support for my clients. Separates me from the other crap "competition". That's how I EARN customers for life. Answering a quick question doesn't take much. You can do it while you are "away with your family"...

Good for you, how I do or do not do things is not open for debate. I was gone 1 day. I believe the email that was sent to me and the basis of this entire thread was replied in about 24 hours from receiving it. Is that not reasonable?

...and that I am afraid is the bottom line. As a business owner, you're only as good as your client base. If that dwindles or is put off by bad reviews, you're screwing yourself as people will like this guy, look for used items or other retailers. I am 100% on my message all of the time. Is it taxing? Holy fk, yes it is, and on top of that is all of the social media. But, are my customers happy and do they keep paying me money to keep going? Hell yes.

The only way my car will see MBH headers is if they're second hand. That decision was solely made by the actions of the vendor on this forum. I am likely not the only one...

Classic. Did you really need a response to your urgent email about headers? If you needed such an urgent response then call. He is selling headers not a 24 hour answering service. Give the guy a break, it’s his company he can run it how he chooses. He’s been around long enough something about his business is obviously working right.

Apparently “just barely” working right. 1 customer complaint (although there have been multiple) is enough for a “business man” to change his/her way of doing business if he/she wants to succeed.

the phone or email is the bare bones of customer care...it’s free to use it. Reaching out can only help not hurt a transaction.

I waited several weeks, still no response.
Nice headers, but not good at marketing.
This and all the drama made my decision.

Still got my headers, and still made a small footprint that might teach someone something.

Not classy at all how he bashes AutoTalent and Fi. VRP **** I’ll troll that guy all day. But his service is sub par. I already have headers. I was looking into another part for my car from his site.

If I used his motto of “sorry I was on vacation, I’d be out of business.” Be professional. You operate a high level so called performance part category, saying your the best in the business. We’ll hire a damn admin or have gmail auto respond that says “answers emails with 24-48 hrs.” Business 101. Get with it.

Glad we had this talk and I was able to get unsolicited advice from you. If you have a problem with me defending against copies of our stuff I could really and I mean really care less about what you think. Today I probably took 50 phone calls and send out about the same in emails. Lots of those calls and emails were technical questions, so I would say we are taking care of our customers future and present.

I have MBH header and high flow cats for 3 months now, it's definitely not cheap BUT the quality of the product, the noticeable power gain and the unmatched sound made it worth every penny for me.

As for the service a s support, Mike went above and beyond for me. He talked to my shop directly when the shop had questions about the installation eventhough he was busy in Vegas for the SEMA.

My experience with MBH was great and will definitely do business with Mike again in the future.

Those are same copies just uncoated. He was selling them on ebay, but not anymore. For some its about making a dollar selling knock offs. For me who was just an ordinary MBworld member like everyone else before MBH, its about giving the Mercedes community good performing parts made to a very high standard. If you think thats BS go look up my old name here hooleyboy.
