Hello together,

I would like to thank you for the current year and to all customers who have trusted me and are happy with their oil coolers.

Also next year I will keep the sale going.

As long as the demand is there, I will try to eliminate the problem with overheating engines. It just makes me happy to help the community!

PS: Currently I have one oil cooler in stock. First come, first served.

Have a happy new year!

Just a report, i have installed Svens cooler on a weistec s/c c63. Quality of the cooler is excellent, fits nicely where the old one was behind the charge cooler.

As mentioned, bolt holes are slightly short but used some washers and im happy with the fit, tested and no issues

I will report back when ive done some driving, previously i would see 120+ celsius just with spirited back road driving which i have always been alarmed by

This was the fifth round that day and the second round in a row. Without the oil cooler this would not be possible.

Still have on in stock. Just send me a PM if you're interested.

How did you manage that temperature? I can't get below 105 degrees with my 2 large oil coolers and air ducts!!

this may be a dumb question , how would I tell if i have the actual 440 kit installed ? If someone put it in afterwards
When I purchased the car (new to me ) the previous owner was a Mercedes tech and had done some mods.
Thanks

You can look underneath the front underbody panels and you’ll see a flap with vents and an oil cooler laying flat. Also on the center vent, while looking directly at it there will be a cut to the left for the air intake to the side cooler. The passenger fender liner will have a large plastic vent. Passenger side vent will have NO fan in front of the cooler.

1st pic is the middle grill , there is a black radiator with a black plastic shroud with "AMG" on the top part of it
2nd pic is the undertray with vents in it
3rd pic is the passenger side grill and there is a radiator and fan

Is that then just the stock cooling radiators that come with the C63? the shroud in the middle grill looks like the BS piece
thanks for answering

No, it's nothing like a regular C63. Congrats you must have a super-top-secret oil cooler system.

(of course it's the OEM system)

Hello together,

due to new circumstances and that I will probably go abroad for a time, the sale will be discontinued in the middle / end of the year.

For all who are interested in a cooler, can still write to me via the usual channels:

Here is one more thing to check when installing this oil cooler that didn't get pointed out last time due to the ruckus caused by pointing out installation details.

The oil cooler body makes contact with a factory hard line near the top rear of the cooler. These factory lines dont seem to have an easy way to relocate them to gain much clearance, so an abrasion resistant buffer may be necessary. The metal to metal contact could eventually cause issues due to vibration, etc.

As already shown here, you need to enlarge the upper mounting holes in the direction of the front.

Then there will be no problems with the tubes as shown in the photo. There is no reason at all to move the lines!
I'm a little surprised that the cooler was installed like this at all. Something like that should already be noticeable during assembly.

Regardless, I recommend anyone who is not a good hobby mechanic to have the radiator installed by an experienced mechanic to recognize such details and solve the problems directly on the car!!!!

Pics were taken during mock up, it wasn't 'installed like that'.. and the lines in your photos do not seem to be located in exactly the same place compared to the cooler as my factory lines judging by the photos and the fact that you can't even see the non-finned area of the cooler where there was contact during mock up in your photo of the factory lines. What year/option pkg was your pic of perhaps there are slight differences, etc
Like i said, something for others to watch during install, if you covered it previously, great consider it a reminder.

You know... you complaining about this is a perfect example of the "no good deed goes unpunished" adage. Another C63 owner and aficionado comes up with a solution to a known problem with the car that he chooses to not only share with the rest of the community but also supply to others at a very low cost, but you keep constantly complaining because you keep finding minor "faults" with it?

I still find it funny that mentioning the install details so others are aware is portrayed by the forum ***** as 'complaining' and 'finding fault'.. it's information pertaining to the topic, which is what forums are for. Everything else is you interjecting the negativity you create in your life and projecting that on to accurate info

Others are fully aware that there are always going to be minor fitment issues with any aftermarket solution (especially one developed by an amateur hobbyist), not to mention when they are actually already documented... you seem to be the only one complaining. As for your commentary about negativity, I am afraid you have it backwards... it is only your posts that are negative. No one else is whining and complaining about it. And, comparing people telling you that you're being a whiny child to ***** is outright disgusting and deplorable and unfortunately says a lot more about you than you'll ever know.

You read into things as far as you have to make your point, even well beyond the obvious intention. Your manipulations are the childlike thing here. And the factory mounting hardware not working had never been mentioned or documented before in fact SRG wrote me specifically saying the factory bolts worked.
Also my factory hardlines look quite different than the pic of them discussed earlier.
Some of you have pinned your identities to this forum, and that ego shows in almost every post you make. i stand by the posts in this thread being informative to those interested in the cooler, so thry dont have to rely on your general assumptions about fitment issues. Go find someone else to argue with.

If by "knew what you were doing" you mean 'daring' to post another install detail that looked different from anything mentioned before even though you reacted poorly to it before, sure.

I think i have figured out whats going on here. A few of you who have spent ridiculous amounts of time constantly pouring over every detail anyone has ever written in this forum for the last say 10-14 years are so starved for new things to react to and throw opinions at that when you read something that you already knew or could have figured out on your own, not only does in create negativity perhaps due to the fact that your precious time was wasted reading it (even though with some self control that urge to read and react to everything ever posted here could be quelled) but you actually feel entitled enough to dictate the intention of the post to the poster. Perhaps the post was meant for others who haven't reread every thread here for the past decade and a half, or who are helped by knowing the details of an installation before they take on the project. Not everything posted here is aimed at you or meant to garner a reaction from you.
if 'due to the ruckus caused by posting installation details' is enough to trigger you despite it being a neutral way to refer to the negative reactions it refers to, then that is an issue on your side of the court.
the posts are accurate, we're intended to inform, and all were about something unmentioned or that look different from something previously mentioned. Period.
