Why not make an override button for the fan sitting on the cooler in the wheelwell?
One can be smart to make the circuit over a tempsensor activated at desired temp.
This to gain more cooling from system already there.

Drove today around 200 km of motorway at around 130-140 km/h speed going south of the Alps through the Gotthard road tunnel. Smooth traffic with no jams for once. It certainly won't be like that when the tourist season starts... Temperatures around the 30°c which is unusually high for the season with a peak seen of 32°c. Temperatures of liquids noted at 93°c for the water and 107°c for the oil. Looks good to me.
I'm now waiting for the alpine passes to open (most of them will do so in June), so that I can drive a bit more aggressively and use the revs more fully. But if I recall from last year, the temperatures of both liquids were about the same, with oil perhaps around 110°c but coming down very quickly when lifting off the throttle and gear changes.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
It was packaged well, arriving through customs without issue.
My car's still down for other work, but I'll say my experience with the quality & fitment of the parts and responsiveness of Sven has a been very positive!
Texas heat is brutal, and i easily saw peak oil temps hit around 250 with standard 1st-2nd gear rush hour nonsense. I'm looking forward to seeing the improvement and will report back when I learn more.
Please bear this in mind when ordering.
To all those who have already ordered: as soon as I have new information, I will get back to you without being asked.
Many thanks to Covid.

Very easy put down bumper and P&P radiator only little 1/2mm enlarge the support holes for the screws and tighten all…
The fan of the passenger side are removed easy and no code faults nothing
in town driving no more noisy fan disturb and incredibly the temps are lower than with fan, even if you are stopped.
If you go to spirited road driving is very hard to go up 122celsius and believe me i drive the car like you stole it more than 1 hour twisty road top end rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear with 28celsius outside. And if you go to normal driving the temp goes down in seconds… before the new radiator the temp keep to much time in higher temperatures… i even hit limp on roads and you need to slow down several minutes.
The most important in trackday use i can use the car all day to the limit in 6 series of 20 minutes external temp 18celsius.
I think in high summer temps 30celsius or more you need to make a cooling lap after 5/6 laps not bad for me
Remember before the SRG_63 radiator i cant complete more than 2 complete laps without hit the limp 139c with winter temps outside and even doing other 2 laps slowly in confort 120kmh the oil temp only decrease to 128c when you put throttle again hit limp in one lap again and you need to stop the trackday, its frustrating….
Sorry to all for my english
About 3 months left and then there will be no sale of the coolers for the time being.
Currently there are no supply bottlenecks for the cooling cores from Setrab. So if you still want to have one, be quick and let me know.

I've got a 2014 Sedan, ROW boxes, but no major mechanical changes to engine yet. (i.e. no headers, etc)
I ordered this kit in April, it arrived in May, and I had it installed since end of July.
The ordering was easy. It was packaged well, and arrived quickly. Sven has always been around to answer my dumb questions. I would have no reservations working with Sven again.
The kit itself was easy to install, I'm told. I gave it to my mechanic though and had to focus on workstuffs. But there were no fitment issues or problems during install that were reported.
The results have been great. I opted to leave the passenger rad fan in place, just for 1:1 comparisons. In a month or so, for round 2, I'll take out the fan just for more data.
But in Houston, TX heat, I was easily hitting 247-249F (119C) when running in rush hour, S+ in 1-2 gear with OE parts. It would take the car ~3-5 minutes of "calm" driving, (or driving in 3rd+ gear at speed) to reduce temps back down to normal 220-ish.
For summer heat of September (90+F / 32C) in same traffic conditions, I can run 1st-2nd gear, S+, aggressive, and temps only hit ~240 max, and cool down is much much quicker at idle/crawling, or cruising.
I'm looking forward to taking out the fan to see any deltas, but this radiator does make a great improvement, especially at recovering from high temps with relatively no airflow.
My concern is like the 44O kit, it'll be gone if i ever need repair parts. Going back to stock is a huge downgrade.
Cheers,

I don't track my car but do push it occasionally in S+.
How did you cap off the fan electricals to be weather/wind proof?
Are there any end caps used for whatever style plug that is, or just a whole bunch of electrical tape?
(I haven't looked hard enough at the assembly to be knowledgeable here yet)
Thanks!

Then placed the wiring up as high as it would go with the cap looking up so any water would just run down.
I installed Sven’s oil cooler after having track day limp modes and seeing 260+ degree temps during canyon drives.
What a night and day difference. This month alone I took the c63 on a 3-day rally and a track day at Big Willow. During both events, oil temps were perfect. The max temperature I saw was about 242 degrees which would drop back to 220~ when not going too hard.
In short, this oil cooler works. 10/10. Best upgrade for your C63 if you enjoy some “spirited” driving.

I have the enlarged cooler but left the auxiliary fan in situ. Never seen oil temps getting over 118° in hard driving conditions
Finally after getting my oil cooler in July I managed to get time this weekend to fit the oil cooler which just took me over 3 hours
Old oil cooler which is small and does a terrible job
New oil cooler in and looks amazing simply plug and play
Front air duct cover on and only needed 4 M5 1 cm long bolts for this to be secure
Picture of the front after installation
Really pleased with the result as before after driving in manual for 10-15mins I would get 120+ temps and would need to slow down or stop but now I drove over an hour and did not get above 110. Don’t expect miracles but this is a huge difference and I haven’t took it on a track but intend to go Germany in August with TeamAMGUK
Waiting at lights to change the temps go down really quick between 3-5. After driving it hard in manual with temps of 109 then putting it back in S+ and driving down a 1-2 mile road and temps went down to 101 in less than 2 mins. Overall I can finally start to enjoy every moment in my car and not worry about temps. I would recommend this to everyone who owns a W204 C63.
SRG_C63 I can not thank you enough for this product, this has truly given my W204 C63 facelift a new life.
