I've got a brake fluid leak on my 2009 C63. I searched for a diagram to know what is the part number, without success. Is it a pain to change (I'm not talking about the bleeding part of the job)?
Also, would you use a brake line union (not a compression fitting)?
Am I right to assume that the diameter is 4.75mm?
Picture has been taken at the rear of the front left wheel.
Thank you.

Its best to get the replacement line from MB, it's not that expensive I think mine was like $50.00 and took me like 2-3 hours to replace it. You may find other areas along that line too. Just do some digging and follow the line to which rear caliper it goes to and MB will know when you call. Mine was my passenger rear line and was pretty bad under the trunk area run so I was really glad I went with replacing full run of it.
The line goes from ABS unit all the way to either left or right caliper. It's not a hard job at all, I spent more time bleeding than replacing line, oh the line will come unbent though so you have to bend and route it yourself. I can't find my receipt for part no. though but as I said MB looked it up easy for me.
I only replaced a brake line on the old W126 platform. Those lines rust in those cars from the 80's.
I tracked the part number and bought the line from the dealer and to my surprise, it did not come pre-bent and I had to buy the special tool and bend it myself.
I really was disappointed that MB did not bend them from the factory for that car.
But back in the '89s, maybe some lines were bent on the assembly line by workers ?? I don't know.
