oh wow...I've been looking for an OEM LSD for a while now. Most sellers want stupid money for them. for most the factory LSD isn't aggressive enough which is saying a lot. the reason I'm interested in the factory LSD is to take it apart to see how it's built and the actual strength of the unit to determine how bad it really is.
Took the car for a quick spin and some pulls with no e85 in the tank, and holy sh**, this car pulls so hard. I did not think the LSD would make this much of a difference. I am in complete shock right now. Is my mind playing tricks on me? Does LSD usually feel this dramatic of a difference over open diff?
nice run! What tune are you running? EC? What was your DA at the track? Your stock tires hooked well it looks like what are they?
just an standard EC tune not a custom one and I was on e85. I didn’t calculate the DA unfortunately but I just asked someone and they said slighty positive idk if that helps at all.
I honestly thought my tires would have held me be back because I am due for a new set. They aren’t bald but they are about done. They are just PS4S.

no, not for the 722.9...but, where other "tunes" affect shift quality and transmission longevity, my tunes speed up shifting and extend transmission longevity past original. with my tunes your transmission never will do something you thought was odd or wasn't what it should have done. it'll always be better than original in response, shift quality, and directness of shifts.
i sound like a broken record to myself, but you won't ever understand until you own one of my tunes. additionally, although i am not directly retuning the TCU, I can do everything I require within my tuning. I can call for shifts to be softer or harder. I can also alter torque converter blending and lockup. so essentially, yes i can do everything you want a TCU tune to do, yes.

Starting slowly to invest in some cosmetic mods before I explore a custom tune in the spring before the track day.
friend was selling a oem 507 hood, got it for a good deal and threw it on the car. Looks awesome. Next up is depo headlights then most likely either a drag wheel setup or just nice wheels with toyo r888r in rear and ps4s in front
went on a nice little cruise with some friends. Here is how the hood looks. Def looks more aggressive and I am loving it. Just need to fix those headlights 🤢🤮
Have another track day coming up in March. Time to invest in a drag setup. I am looking to run a 17x8 wheel in the rear (found some enkei rpf1s ~16lbs) then going with some Hoosier DOT radials.
Running a 245/45/17 which is about 25.66in in height so I am pretty sure I am covered here.
my goal is to keep full interior and see if I can get into the 10s by decreasing weight of wheels and tires.

so I ended up buying some oem 507 wheels from a friend and mounted some toyo R888R on the rear with PS4S on the front. also lowered on HR springs
Track day is March 20th. Attempting to scrape up some money to hopefully get the car dialed in with Barry.

That looks really good! What size toyos you running? I have a set of 265/30/19 in my living room waiting to be put on my 507 and I'm also lowered on H&R springs! Toronto winters suck! I'm also waiting for better weather to get custom tuned by Barry! got everything needed just need better weather! Good luck at the track!

yup, I went 265 in the rear and 245 upfront.
But honestly, I am absolutely hating how loud the toyos are. I really wish I went with a dedicated drag setup because driving the car is so annoying with how much road noise the toyos offer. I hate it. Going to be going back to ps4s after I am done with these. I Will probably never buy Toyo r888r for the car again.
