yup, I went 265 in the rear and 245 upfront.
But honestly, I am absolutely hating how loud the toyos are. I really wish I went with a dedicated drag setup because driving the car is so annoying with how much road noise the toyos offer. I hate it. Going to be going back to ps4s after I am done with these. I Will probably never buy Toyo r888r for the car again.

That was also one of my concerns about running r888r, I've heard mixed stories about them not being that loud to others saying they are really loud and what not... I don't daily my car and wanted something sticky so I decided to try them out. I'm sure if you really wanted to you could sell your setup fast and buy a dedicated drag setup. OEM 507 wheels sell stupid fast from what I've seen and for a good price too. I'm a sucker for a 17 inch rim in the rear with a fat tire! I will most likely be going that route when I decide to buy new wheels. First a custom tune with Barry! Also looking to dress up my engine bay a bit. I bought ROW boxes and going to paint them black with either silver or gold amg lettering.

Like a idiot I flashed a tune without a trickle charger. Had to recharge the battery because it was drained a lot. Lesson learned. Ended up buying a Optima Yellow battery but realized it isn’t the same size because I am an idiot but to my surprise the original battery after some charging started right up.
now I need to figure out how to install this optima battery

Well the original kit I had was total **** so I ended up buying an Advanced fuel dynamics kit and DW 600cc injectors. Absolutely no issues. Runs flawless. Car is a beast on E85. I was able to run an 11.2 at 124 full interior with an eurocharged standard V7 tune.
the kit is so good. And the mobile app tells you the e85 content percentage. No issues at all. And when I don’t want to run e85 just put 93. So easy and convenient
now I am in the process of getting a eightysixtuned custom tune on HP tuners so hoping to break 10s full interior.

So I got a custom tune with @hachiroku and eightysixtuned, and I gotta say THE HYPE IS REAL.
Coming from a eurocharged can tune to this, the difference was next level. Let’s talk first about how smooth the tune is vs EC. My EC tune would run so rich and was so choppy. The custom tune from eighty, I swear, feels better than a stock car. No more choppiness in the rpm range when your just chillin but when you get on it, I can confidently say this is much faster and smoother than the EC tune. The car pulls hard all the way to redline and it does it without any hiccups or choppiness.
I really don’t beat on my car on the streets so drivability is very important to me. Overall I am just blown away. Another thing I want to talk about is price. I was honestly pushed away for awhile considering eighty’s tune due to the price, it is not cheap, BUT after this experience and how fast his response times are and doesn’t care if you bombard him with questions AND takes the time to explain things to you like your a noob (like me). This right here is why you pay that premium and I am so glad I did.
overall couldn’t be happier, there is something called a hammer tune he offers for free that is supposed to be ***** to the walls, and I am looking forward to running that at the track to break this 10.
Great service offered by Barry and eightysixtuned. No other tuner will ever touch my car at this point.
I would talk to Barry before you decide to get your car tuned with him to ask questions and get details. The hp tuner experience is also great (kinda pricey) but very well worth it.
Thank you @HPTuners and @hachiroku for giving me a great tuning experience.

Glad I found Barry a few months ago when I was shopping around for a tune. His attention to detail and level of communication is what made me go with him. Car is a blast to drive with his tune!

Well went to the track yesterday and not what I was expecting. The toyo R888R just didn’t get the job done at all. They just couldn’t hook at all. Idk why. Time to finally invest in some drag radials.
best time was 11.5 with horrible 60ft all day. DA was -1500 so if I was gonna run a 10 it should’ve been yesterday. Car was struggling to burn out and everything. This tire really let me down
dragy captured this but the track said 11.5 so I’ll stick to the 11.5 time but I’ll share this just for the heck of it.

i appreciate it. Trying to understand what could’ve went wrong. I think upgrading to the 507 wheels and running those may have hurt me. I was running an 18in wheel last time. So going back to basics for next track event. But with Hoosier radials

I'm sure you'll hit 10's with some tweaks and a better tire on there. Did you log the runs for Barry?

On the 11.5 run I lowered it to 28psi. After doing some more research I really think my rim and tire setup really hurt me. I am gonna purchase some Hoosiers on a 17in rim and see how that works. Might get some skinnies up front also

Went to the track with the car full of 93 gas DA was terrible I think when I calculated it was like 1500-2000 hot weather and very humid
not sure why dragy says invalid but gave me some valid ones also at the track but the dragy times were consistent with what I was getting on my slips
im happy with these times on 93. I put the times through dragtimes DA calculator and they returned back some corrected values of like 11.3-11.4 not sure how much I trust that since I don’t really know what goes into it. But happy with the results. Going back in a couple weeks to run again with the same setup but on e85. Goal is to get into 11.2-11.3 with this setup before I get a drag setup and lightweight rotors.
