The mod bug has kicked in...
Well been a lurker for awhile but I made some pretty big decisions for my car in the past month. Going some what “all out” outside of a blower.
First I want to thank Gzim335 aka c63nyc on instagram, he is legit as they come and has a legit hookup with ARH and gave me a really good deal on catless headers. Do not hesitate to deal with him AT ALL. I recently was scammed here on the forums which is 100% my fault and he made it right. Thank you for taking care of me champ!
Secondly, I want to thank East Coast Euro for all his knowledge. He just sold me some of his engine mounts for his C63 and he helped me assemble them showed me all of his products, took the time to explain to everything to me as someone who doesn’t know much about this platform. His engine mounts btw are BEASTLY MY LAWWWWD.
Also bought a used eflexfuel kit with 550cc injectors from a forum member PayKoHan. Great person to deal with.
Going to be running a Off the shelf Map from Eurocharged. Will probably custom tune the car this summer.
All these items will be going on the car this month, hopefully have it all done by March 22 for a 1/4 mile track day. Never been to the track so I hope I don’t do anything stupid. Tips welcomed.
sorry for sucky photos. I plan to document this thread with progress, track times, issues etc.

Are those ECE engine mounts from ECE or from someone who had them but decided to sell? Only asking because in the other thread, ECE had said they did not have any in stock and no ETA. If they started to produce them again I am going to get in contact with them!

I would do the tuning. HPTuners allows the owner of the vehicle to own the tune and cable interface. You can revert back to stock at any time or goto another tuner as you own the licensed ECM and tuning cable. Once HPTuners has been installed, any tuner can tune your car if they are familiar with the functionality of the Bosch Motronic 9.7. If the owner owns their own cable, fully custom non face to face tuning is possible.

Used to have a valvetronic exhaust on the car, it just rattled too much and I hated it. So I decided to go back to stock. Bought all new hardware but took it to a friend and he installed it incorrectly. Not his fault I should’ve showed him how to do it. And he welded one of the clamps to my exhaust.
fighting cutting these tack welds with my dremel currently. Any tips welcomed
also bought these awesome ramp things from amazon since I am not a fan of jack stands. These things GO!!

Fuel injectors came back from Fuel Injector Clinic in Florida. Even though the injectors were cleaned perfectly, they came back as 600cc and not 550cc.
part number on the Bosch injectors are 0280158123
did a search on the forums and can’t seem to find people mentioning these are 550cc instead of 600.
previous user mentioned he purchased from eurocharged. Not sure if these are the same injectors offered by EC.
Can anyone provide info on that?

Great. Thanks for the info. I have a off the shelf aka can tune from EC that Jerry sent me for flex fuel. I’ll probably install the injectors sometime this week load the tune and see how it goes. Also hoping to get the headers installed this week

i didn't bother with cleaning my used injectors. ethanol itself will melt any varnish so i left them as is. good luck with the EC tune. if you're unhappy feel free to reach out for a custom tune.

So I ended up putting my exhaust back on. But this thing looks so lop sided now.
Had success cutting the welds on the clamp that an Indy shop did for me.
back story: this is about the 5th time I removed the exhaust so I’m curious if the hangers are worn out or something for it to look like this. It is driving me NUTS.
Any help and direction is appreciated. Really trying to get this thing aligned correctly.
