Brakes for my 507

Hey guys so I've read a lot about how great RB brakes are and how Giro discs are too.. but they are on the more expensive side...

I don't track my car at all but I do drag race time to time and do hwy pulls here and there. I also wouldn't want to install anything crap by all means..

Basically I'd like to get some updated opinions on both RBs and Giros from anyone that has experience with these.. but I'm also interested in how these Brembos compare to the 2 mentioned above and the oems.

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-brembo-p...2194210212kt9/

Has anyone ever run these?

Thanks for the help!

I can't compare but I just put brand new Brembo disks on my fronts and Textar on my rear. Cheaper and slightly better than OEM.

I have not used the brembo's but I know others have, if you go with them, at least get them from FCP, cheaper and free next time you replace them https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bra...mbo-2194210212

I did the Brembo 2 piece discs and EBC Yellow pads when I did my brakes.

One thing I'd recommend, seeing as you're in Toronto - Don't get them done at Eurocharged, unless you want to pay double the price.

Top quality on the Giros. I would trust them 10x over the RBs who have had issues on track.

Here's one of the rears.

FYI - in addition to the two piece Brembo set's, FCP Euro now sells a 1.5 pc OEM replacement for the P31 rotors, slightly cheaper than the Brembo's, made by VNE - seem to be reputable - I have not purchased, anyone have any experience?

RBs are top quality. They are also on sale for the BBK kit.

This is a sweet option if they are decent, about 1k cheaper than oem for 1.5 piece facelift rotors https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...vne-2124210512

I'm trying to actually find something local as I don't want to pay a stupid amount for customs and shipping...

I've found the Brembos for $725 CAD each side. $1,450 a pair
https://germanparts.ca/parts/b90316m...ke-disc-front/

And a local supplier also quoted me $1,850 CAD for Giro Discs for the pair. Do you guys think the extra $400 is worth Giros over the Brembos? What advantages are there one over the other? I couldn't find much information on the Brembos.

Brembos should be like $450 a disk on the front. Unless you mean $725 for a front and rear disk.
