Due to the delay in obtaining the heat exchanger, Weistec was awesome with their customer service to supply me with a COMPLIMENTARY air oil separator for my build. Can’t wait until it gets here!
Progress photos of the Advanced Fuel Dynamics kit installed. I wanted the setup to look as OEM as possible.
The machined pulley fits nice and snug.

Man oh man. I am glad I went with the Weistec Stage 2. The car is a complete rocket. Car does not overheat. Supercharger does not experience any heatsoak whatsoever. Weistec engineering is hands down solid 👌. The stage 2 kit retains the emission functions.
I also want to compliment the guys at Eurocharged for their help with my build. Jerry got the base tune for my car spot on.
The Fuel Injector Clinic injectors are also operating 100% with no issues.
I am waiting on Joes Killer Chiller Drag Race kit to get here so I can install it and then Dyno tune the car and advance timing.
Currently she’s sitting pretty.
I also want to compliment the guys at Eurocharged for their help with my build. Jerry got the base tune for my car spot on.

I am waiting on Joes Killer Chiller Drag Race kit to get here so I can install it and then Dyno tune the car and advance timing.

To a naked eye, stage 2 retains all emissions. Looks exactly like stage 1 kit aside from the machined pulley. Also, assuming you have the proper 02 simulators your car will pass smog if you can pass visual. The rest is up to your car, assuming your 02s function properly.

yup are cars are easy to pass emissions if o2’s are on and functioning.
are you Changing the fuel pumps and lines as well to run full e?

yes I understand that but did they sell you the stage 1 kit and you machined a smaller pulley making it a stage 2! Did you change the belt as well? Any slip?

Out of curiosity, what did you use for O2 simulation? One of my apprehensions with going to headers is OBD2 readiness. I've been reading that the rear sensors are temperamental with extension harnesses, otherwise I'd prefer to plumb them in after a set of 200 cell cats.

i didn’t plug them in after the cat. No need to use 02 extension wires. Just plug them in the second 02 spot inline in the mini cat.

I’m running nitrous in my car. Only a 100 shot. Stepped down from 175 shot and stand alone fuel cell. Car couldn’t handle 100 shot and full e85 without stand alone. I would ask Brad (Mr747) on fueling tips. That guy is gun.

So. I used the same dyno that I used before I got the supercharger installed.
Heres before supercharger
After installing the supercharger
I noticed the 50mm pulley is making the supercharger run too hot and therefore Is pulling timing at the top. It is important to note that I am tuning for reliability. So numbers are irrelevant here unless you compare them to where we started at 441 (pre supercharger) to 611 (after supercharger with 50mm pulley).
I am still waiting on the killer chiller to get here and get it installed. I will be doing another run on the Dyno after to see the difference in power.

I decided to pump some e85 30% in. I can’t tell much of a difference in power on the street. When I drive on the freeway the car feels like it’s gained more torque. It pulls strong without hesitation. I am unsure If it’s safe to run full e85 on my stock fuel lines.

as long as you monitor your lambda values , injector duty cycle and fuel pressure and everything within spec you should be ok with e85 on a stage 2. Not saying it will be but log to make sure your pumps can keep up and youre not leaning out.

I dont have a specific logging tool i use, but you should really monitor lambda and not AFR when running ethanol, and monitor your fuel pressure. As long as lambda stays consistent and fuel pressure doesn't drop i would say you could test E% to see what happens being careful.

There’s nowhere else to put the KC unit.
Ideally I would like the KC system to be mounted closer to the engine to avoid a pressure drop in the system.. This would be ideal to cool the supercharger VS mounting the system in the trunk.
My only option is to mock up the KC system where the cabin box goes and go from there. I am very picky with how things look so if I were to go this route I would need to make it look as OEM as possible.
I noticed that the ECU has a bracket that takes up a lot of unnecessary space. I might be able to find an ECU holder from another car and fab up the ECU to sit nicely in the bin directly under the KC system.
I am exploring the idea of hacking up the Cabin box and install the KC system inside the cabin filter box. This shouldn’t affect the air flow of the in cabin.
