H&R vs Vogtland Springs

I am finally getting around to lowering my C63. I know I want to go the springs route but currently split between H&R and Vogtland.

It is not clear anywhere how much of a drop each of them nets us. Modbargain claims 1.5 to 2 inch drop for H&Rs and .8 inch drop for Vogtland. Can anyone validate these? Does anyone got any real life figures? Specifically for Vogtland springs as they are plenty of post on H&R Springs.

Vogtland - https://modbargains.com/vogtland-low...n-w204-952206/

No experience with th vogtland but I just put H&Rs on yesterday. I'd say 1.5-1.75" is accurate. Rides better too. I went with the 17mm rear pads so it has a little rake to it. I wish I was able to take an after pic but it was 9:30 pm when I finished and I had to take it to the body shop this morning.

from stock ride height on stock 18" split 5 spoke wheels i went from full tire exposure with small fender gap to tires tucked about .75-1".

I just installed Vogtland springs with 17mm rear spring pads on my C63 last week. The drop is just right, in my opinion. 0.80 inches is pretty spot on. No issues so far. No experience with H&R springs, but I took the chance and saved myself $100. I also bought from ModBargains.

Both pictures are of the passenger side. The first one is the front tire and the second is the rear tire. Hope this helps.

H&R states the drop on their sport springs for the C63 W204 is 20mm or .8".

Yes, H&R website is definitely misleading.

Great. It feels tighter to the road, better in corners, and also not quite as jarring over bumps and everything.

Love the stance! Not gonna lie I'm leaning towards H&Rs now.

2014 C63 AMG 507 Edition
I just ordered a set of H&Rs with the 17mm rear pad.
I wanted to order some spacers for my 507 sedan but wanted some advice on what I could use.
I’m currently running 245/35/19 on ps4s fronts and 265/30/19 on ps4s on the rear. Stock 507 rims.

im debating on trying to fit 275/30/19 in the rear. Was thinking sport cup 2 or something sticky.. I know I wouldn’t be able to fit any spacers back there running 275s.. But if I stuck with my 265s would I be able to fit any spacers back there?
In the front sticking with 245/35/19s what spacer would I be able to run?

I'm on 245s in front with 12mm spacer and 265 out back with a 10mm spacer no rub. I did scrub at speed over large bumps/dips or with someone in the back on 275s.

I see that you’re on 18in rims. Would I rub on my 19 inch 507 rims with the same setup? 12mm spacer up front and 10mm in the rear?

did you have to cut your oe bump stops? Have mine installed but stops were left as is. Ride is quite harsh over bumps.
