What next after C63 W204?
I am fully enjoying the C63 W204, at first I didn't get on so well with the driving ability due to the gear box etc being so dimwitted. Coming from an M car, last one being an E92 M3 Comp. I think it didnt help due to DCT box being so good, and overall being a much more of a driver focused car with much more precision.
But the noise, and power always made up for its weaknesses. I have learned a lot about this car now, and feel comfortable with it. The MSL stage 1 improved it a lot, and driving with DSC off gives you an even better sense of occasion. Not that it really needs it, but the traction stabiltity can be annoying at times. I think MDM mode felt better, but ESP seems to work in a similar way, and traction is still activated as far as I am aware. Plus you get that beautiful wheel spin, and roar from the exhaust.
I do love this car now, sure the MPG is one of the worst, but I am thinking unless you spend stupid money, what car can match it for its overall greatness?
I am talking angry noise ASBO cars by the way, aggressive ones like this. Its bordering American muscle car territory, not as powerful obviously. I am in the UK by the way, so having access to Hell Cats etc are not as easy.
I am thinking, if I were to move on to another car, what would I get? The new AMG's are great, and still sound good, but the noise of the new C63 is not as raw as the W204 in my opinion, I am sure some will disagree. The E63 is a great, but looks like an Uber. Im sure the correct paint etc could make it look more mean.
The Jag Type R is probably the best option, sub 50k. Even sub 70k, what will give you that same noise and drama? The Maserati GT is another option as well I guess, both loud angry aggressive cars.

I absolutely love and will never sell my NSX
Find an NA2 with a 6spd and 3.2L
It is fast enough (very underpowered compared to the c63) but there are so many things that make up for it
Besides that, I agree with the list above.
Could also add
F10 M5
E39 M5

Suggestion: troll BAT for ideas

I will keep the C63 forever. Whats next to the stable will be one of my end cars, currently looking at a lamborghini gallardo lp560-2 or lp560-4. Or if I decide to wait a couple more years it might be a huracan. The g look is timeless and I kind of like the old school cars that are more analog.

Thats awesome to hear. I've yet to drive one but I always dreamed about owning a Lamborghini. I like the updated look of the 2009+, also they upgraded the clutch starting that year as well. I like getting the newer years because generally they took care of any bugs and issues by that time and they are basically at the bottom of depreciating. (100-125k) If I dont end up putting a down payment on a house, the G is definitely in sight

My C63 is a keeper as well as my VW R32.
Currently on the hunt for a 88/89 Conquest TSi/Starion ESi-R; had a couple in high school.

Some of y'all haven't been in the new e63s tuned on pipes and it shows.
Audi v8tt motors (s6/s7/s8/RS7) are plagued by a turbo issue that can come up without any warning whatsoever and result in a 5 figure repair bill.
If you own a bmw v8tt motor out of warranty you are quite literally a psychopath.
Most of the cars mentioned here aren't really in the c63 class. I don't hate all things audi / bmw btw and if I were you looking for the next thing that is IN THIS CLASS OF CAR it would be the f80 m3. It won't have the soul the w204 c63 has because, well, nothing does. But it is a very refined machine and is far more reliable than what else has been mentioned here.
I know you have an issue saying the e63s looks like an uber. I get it. But I'm telling you right now that if you want the drama and the soul wait a year or two, scoop up a clean one for $50-$60k, put another $6k into it with ecu/tcu/downpipe tune, and you have an absolute wolf in sheeps clothing that will just blow your mind every single time you get in it and drive it.
I had a PFL c63 then a FL c63 and then the w212 e63s. All of them tuned and exhaust work. Again, you wont find that soul that comes from the w204 c63. You just wont so stop looking for it. But, my e63s was an absolute monster such that I have been now looking into, researching, everything on the w213 e63s and everything indicates that it is even better.

I'd echo the R8 w/ the V10......and still want the RS6 avant we've never been given .... but hoping they can sort out the reliability issues.....my friends APR tuned RS7 was amazing right up until it broke the crank....
Supra should considered but all but impossible to find a clean one these days....
That said I'm headed to an E63s wagon for at least a few years ...love the 5.5tt motor.

Alfa 147 GTA. Absolutely bonkers car with a fantastic soundtrack to go with it.
Maserati Gransport, the sound this car makes is up there with the M156 as the all time great sounding V8's.

Keep the C63 and get a lightly used 2 seat sports car. Short shopping list would be Porsche GT3, GT4, R8, or C8/C7 Corvette. A Gallardo would be amazing but I'd have to look into what maintenance is like on those bad boys? Hopefully these sports cars continue to depreciate a little bit more over the next few new years!

w213 - Pros: nice interior and already a beast stock. Cons: most expensive. Sounds ok but needs some exhaust upgrades
w212 - Pros: Bigger V8 and cheaper than w213. Could use some of that savings for ECU/TCU/downpipes/pure turbos. Cons: seems pretty hard to find in my area with decent mileage.
w204 - Pros: Best sounding of the three. Love the 6.2L as AMG continues to downsize. Cons: Not as much room as the other two options. Almost maxed out on power unless I go weistec SC. Neighbors don't love the LTH cold start at 6am.

This is kind of where I am at right now. I have a w204 C63 coupe and a GTS and not sure what I want to do with the C. Although it at least has backseats I've been thinking I need a second option with more room. I'm currently trying to decide between w212 E63s, w213 E63s or just holding onto the C63.

I've had 2 w204s and a w212. If I were you (which I am not) I would wait until winter at the earliest or, if you aren't in a rush really, wait until next winter and start shopping w213's.
w212's don't need pure turbos. They've finally cracked into the tcu world and tuning things other than just the ecu such that stock turbo w212 is now down to 10.1 on a hot day. That's plenty if that's what you're after.
The w213 is by far the most capable and honestly it sounds very, very angry.
I'm probably going to get destroyed in these parts for saying this... but my w212 sounded better than my w204. This is a personal preference thing obviously, both had similar exhaust work, but my w212 was really something else.
I'm waiting for the w213. The w212 looks better but that's not to say the w213 looks bad. I think that fall 2021/winter 2021 you'll be able to grab a clean one with 30-40k miles in the low 50s. That is as long as we don't all kill each other by then haha

GTS as in AMG GTS? Why have that and the c63 coupe?

I'm not in a huge hurry to do anything. As for the w212, good to know about the turbos. I've been trying to read up on the recent TCU stuff but thought people were still going with upgraded turbos. My mechanic is one of the listed shops that will be doing the TCU if he has enough interest so I discussed with him briefly. I know the w212 sounds good as well and I think my GTS sounds great with valves open so I know the w213 can sound mean too. Like you said, personal preference. Between the two I agree the w212 probably looks better but w213 interior is better and way ahead on tech including more advanced AWD system and suspension. Looks like I have more stuff to think about. But seriously hopefully we all make it back to "normal" soon.

Yeah so if I were you I'd try to sell the w204 privately and not rush into another car but wait until a w213 was in the cards, the right price, etc etc you obviously know how to buy a car haha. But a GTS / e63s combo is one that dreams are made of.

2016 GTs, 2014 C63 AMG and 2014 C350 Sport (wife's car, she thinks it's an AMG - shhhhhh)
Yes AMG GTS and w204. I have both just because of timing. Wanted an E but also loved the GTS and came across what I thought was a great deal on a CPO. So I picked that up and figured I would have some time to decide on which E63 I wanted and get rid of the w204. I got quotes from dealers to buy it but they were low compared to what I could get going private. In the meantime before I could put it on the market all this covid stuff hit and so I've just been holding on to it. Been driving the GTS mostly but whenever I drive my C63 I think about keeping it.
I'm in a C63 now and, frankly, I love it. There is just something about the GTS that is calling to me. I am only allowed one 'toy' car (per Mrs. Bones). And my DD is and always will be a pickup truck because, well, I'm a dude and I need one to haul all my other cool toys around.
Curious to know some of the reasons you gravitate to the GTS when you have a choice.

You are the perfect person for me to ask. I've been looking for the perfect AMG GTS... hard to find one with everything I want but, when I do, it's trigger time.

Not sure if that helps. If you're looking for a more technical review from people that know a lot more than me just head to the GT forum. Some knowledgeable guys over there that have been really helpful.
