Filled up my tank, and it said 320 miles. 5min later, it said 280 miles...
So, my car seems to be having some gas issues. Not sure if its related to the vaucuum hose I replaced or not, but seems to be???
I was driving and I was going pretty fast, and then my gas light comes on.....way before it shouldve.
Ok, so I go get gas. I fill up. It says the usual 320 miles on the digital display.
I drive 1 mile down the street, and by then its saying 280 miles left.
By the time Im home...which is 3 minutes later or so, the display is saying 245 or so. So, I just sit in the car and let it run, and the digital display keeps showing my miles left to drive decreasing. But then it kind of went back up...to like 245 or so, and it seemed to stop....
My actual gas meter level is still showing as full..
Anyone have any idea what issue this could be???

Mine is similar
No issues with vacuum lines
I think it may have to do with how your car sits on an incline or decline.

Mine does the same.
I think it shows your estimated remaining miles to E on your current driving state. Aka if your cruising at 70mph then you’ll probably upwards of 300 miles to the tank whereas If your gunning it then you’ll probably only get 200miles to the tank. It fluctuates as you drive.

The fuel range is just a toy, it constantly varies depending on how you’re driving at that moment. It doesn’t mean anything until the light comes on.

As BLKROKT said the fuel range is constantly changing depending on how you are driving.
When you fill up you may have been just cruising beforehand and the range will show as much.
But if you left the garage and then got stuck in traffic the ECU is going show more fuel usage and less range.
