Battery is dead, how do I change the battery?
I am sure this has been covered, but I am trying to get this done so that I can pick up a needed prescription.
Last night, after picking up groceries, the AMG GLS63 rear tail lights were evidently on for a few hours without me knowing about it. No switch was left on. I went out and hit the brake a few times, which seemed to fix the problem. Next morning stone dead.
I think the battery is under the pass seat, but how in the world can you move it forward without any charge in the battery? Is there a reset switch somewhere? I thought there was a battery saver setup. I used the Mercedes AGM charger and it turns red. Any help?
Thanks so much.

I used to have an '08 ML63, and the battery died. Had to remove the 4 bolts holding the passenger seat to the floor and move the entire seat assembly forward toward glove box. PITA, but gets the job done.

They used a ES6000 jumper truck jumper battery. Started right up. Drove tor 1.5 hours, shut it off at home. 12.6 volts starts right up, so I put the Mercedes battery saver on the two poles under the hood, and it jumped up one bar, and should be fully charged in the AM.
Thanks for all the help. Much appreciated!
