Well its been 10 years with the C63, time to move on as much as it hurts .
What's next? Love the look of the new E63, but its way too heavy to go fast. M5 is fast AF, but also ugly AF. AMG GT is nice, but 2 seater hmmm...
Anyone got some ideas or made the move?

He’ll never get a GT BS, he hasn’t bought enough AMG’s to get on the list.
Sticking to things with more than 2 seats
- GT350
- GT500
- Audi RS6/RS7
- 911 Turbo (996, 997, 991)
- GT-R
- Continental GT(R)
- Quattroporte
- Charger Hellcat
- W205 C63?

I dont know what car you are driving because the E63 feels like a boat compared to the W204.
I don't know what this means. I went from a '13 C63 to an E63S and there is no category where the E doesn't blow the C away. Handling is night and day. Getting the 600+ HP down with AWD is night and day. Yes, the longer wheelbase means the car isn't quite as spry, but the vastly improved dynamics more than make up for it. And they certainly make up for the extra 500 pounds.

Stock turbo w212 just did a 10.1 and on street trim a 10.2 on a 1200 DA...At the very least just peep the mod list and you'll realize it really is not all that much... https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...0-1-136-a.html
I went from 2 c63's to my E63s and oh my god was it the right move. I wish I still had my e63s. And if you are talking about the w213 I would hesitate even less. The cars are monsters. E63 all day every day

You talking about the w212 or w213? The w213 is actually quite nimble. And at the end of the day, 212 or 213, it is going to gap a 204 with ease.

Actually, it doesn't. I put 50,000 miles on the C63 and 15,000 so far on the E63S. It's much more nimble and neutral handling. Yes, it's longer and heavier. But the chassis is so much more advanced and the suspension so much more sophisticated, it makes the 204 seem primitive. Sorry.

That’s good to know. I like primitive. I also thought about moving on, but the way my car is setup now it feels like a go-cart. It has that “analog” feeling that’s missing from the more “sophisticated” cars of today. And I love the car for it.

Both are fantastic cars at the end of the day it just comes down to preferences on which to go with.

Stock w213 on a mustang dyno put down 594awhp/636awtq which is bananas stock on a mustang.
And GAD has one stock engine, bolt ons, pump gas going 9.94@145.2mph in the quarter and 15.46@173.6mph in the half on a Dragy.
Still in the early days of the platform and those are just two examples. And yes you're looking at upgraded fuel systems and such to get those GAD results.
However, on a typical setup (ecu/tcu tune + light exhaust work) and you're reliably in the 10s without touching fueling. Not your 10.2 c63 but you know what it took to get there and dollar for dollar would cost about the same, maybe even less, on the 213.
I will give you this heads up though is that I would get a MY19 or up. Not a necessity, but you'll see a lot of lemons/branded titles over a misfiring issue on these cars early on. 18s that aren't branded are likely fine and updated but for me it's a peace of mind thing. MB has completely fixed this issue across the board though and basically from what I've seen everyone is happy with the car thus far.
The w212's tcu was just recently cracked and why we are finally seeing low 10s out of a car that dyno'd like it should be there but the tcu was limiting tq through the gears so they didn't trap / run what people thought they should. I'm only saying this because the support for these cars gets better and better as time goes on and without a doubt the w213 is a better car than the w212. I've seen and heard from a lot of people that made the switch and are happy they did. That is hearsay though as I have not been in a w213 yet but will likely be my next car. Dabble in the w213 forum, you might like what you see and they will know better than I do.

It was a fuel recalibration issue, as I understand it.

^And to add onto that I think the biggest reason behind the lemon/branded titles was more because it took MB some time to solve the issue rather than the significance or amount of damage that would be done because of it. As far as I know it was just the cars misfiring in cyl 1&6 but just misfires. Just took some time to iron out the wrinkles and the lemon laws here have something to do with amount of time a car spends at a dealer to get fixed.
In other words, I would just make sure the cars software is up to date, doesn't have a bad title, and then yeah it should be worry free at that point. But like whoover I'm not sure what MB Canada did (though I assume they would've done the same as MBUSA but definitely double tap that) or how Canadian vehicle laws work but it's not like the cars were coming with engines that were going randomly detonate on you.
As far as other cars... Right now, I wouldn't own anything Audi/BMW out of warranty that has a v8tt. I know I come off as a MB fanboy saying that, but I have an X5 and love my BMW. I just wouldn't touch anything with the s63tu from BMW because they do blow up and then on the Audi end I was just reading how all their 4.0tt motors (s6/s7/s8/rs6/rs7) are susceptible to an out of nowhere turbo failure because of the turbo filter which starves the turbo of oil and you end up with a 5 figure repair bill. Audi USA is also notorious for not helping customers out who have a car they detect was modified at one point so if you buy used, even if it's back to stock, you really are rolling the dice big time there. But these are just my preferences.
Long story short, and emphasis on it is just my opinion, that right now the w213 is the best v8tt super sedan you can buy on the market today.

213 is great if you want a big sled. I love that a 12yr old n/a car is being compared to higher end 2yr old twinturbo car. lol. The E63 handles great for being portly and is absurdly fast with just a tune. If you're looking for "handling" and driver feedback the 204 is going to slaughter a 213 in every way. Nimble is not a word i'd use to describe the 213. Physics are physics. With that being said I'm not down playing the car it's great, everytime i drive one I ponder selling my 204, but lets not over sell it's handling lol. Not wanting a 2dr really limits the possibilities. Electric power steering is the real killer in the 205 and 213 or any of the new amg cars other than the GT series. 205 is much more "nimble" than a 213. The 212 handles terribly compared to 204, 205 or 213 cars. I'd pretty much just chalk the 212 off the list. That's great the stock turbo record is a 10.1 or whatever. Overall reliability and serviceability isn't as good on a m157 as a M156 or m177. 213 awd and launch control are far superior to any older models. I hate the newer infotainment but whatever thats personal preference.

Does your C63 with all your suspension mods feel more go-karty than your old 996 turbo? Sorry to derail the topic but a 996/997 turbo seems tempting as a replacement. Definitely not as great of a daily compared to the C63 but they seem more fun as a weekend/canyon/track car.
