390mm front brake kit.

Found another vendor who can provide the 360mm to 390mm front brake upgrade kit.

The description is stating that it is for a CLS63 but according to my research it should fit the C63 as well.

Solo Motorsports

In my opinion the racing brakes option is a little pricey.

The brackets only are popping up all over from multiple companies for much less than the other few I found. I thought I bookmarked place that was selling for ~400 like the ebay link below but can't find it.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MercedesBen...-/324041681780

I think SRG_C63 had a german contact who was also making them.

The place I linked is willing to only sell the brackets as well. I should have a price soon.

Sweet. Finally this upgrade is catching on.

I was in discussion with Girodisc a while back to offer a bracket as well since they have the 390mm rotors. But, they stopped responding so I guess it wasn't worth it to them.

Is it safe to assume that these 390mm brembos would fit fine under 19" factory wheels?
thank you for the link.

Yes it is. The email I received stated that it has to be a 19” factory wheel in order to fit the 390mm.

Just to clarify the above, most 19” wheels will work with the 390’s, not just factory. I don’t know of any 18’s that will work, factory or otherwise.

Looks very nice, but do these 390mm need different callipers, or can you use the normal AMG 6 pistons ones?

That's the whole point of the bracket being discussed: to relocate the stock caliper so that a 390mm disc can be installed.

If you update the rears to 360mm, you need the BS calipers. Front calipers are the same except for the bracket referenced by Ludedude.

Looks like solo motorsport stopped responding as well.

sadly 390mm's don't fit under my 20 inch Vossen's from what i can tell. there is lip that exists mid point on my wheels that would come into contact.

To make sure your existing wheels fit just install a 15mm washer/spacer onto the current bracket to move the caliper out to simulate a 390mm disk setup.

Just to be clear hopefully no one take this as "run with a 15mm spacer and not spend the money on a new bracket"

honestly I wouldn't shy away from having some spacers machined then Tig welded onto the bracker. if that's all that was needed. but I believe in our case there is a lot of additional squared supporting material, so it's just easier to have a billet replacement bracket made up.

Solo motorsports responded and they would sell the brackets for $750.

I assume they want to make an extra penny by just selling the brackets. If you brake down their kit the brackets would run about $550.

Brake down their kit, no pun intended?

Hard pass on 750US for 2 simple pieces of machined aluminum.
