Problem, car won’t turn on ignition
I believe your issue is electrical related if it’s not cranking. I would start w/ the battery as previously stated.

Replaced my ESL & EIS together $400 at an indy in Australia.
Can cost up to AU$2000 at Stealerships
will try to get the car started one more time by messing with the steering wheel or give the ESL a tickle...
If I manage to get the car running and steering unlocked, I’ll take the ESL out the easiest way and replace the motor. Or should I get a ESL emulator?
any tips?
When car is running, leave the key in and then remove battery cable leaving the steering unlocked is the main thing?
if you going to do the work yourself, place key in ignition and if you hear the steering unlock disconnect battery. This will allow you to lower steering column and remove esl and open up to replace motor. Most recommend removing steering wheel but I replaced mine by pulling four bolts for steering column and wiggled esl out. Search for esl replacement and you will get a better idea what needs to be done. Honestly the repair is fairly easy assuming you have the esl unlocked before complete failure.
