C63 AMG Wheel Fitment
#26
The wheels im running right now on the Front 19x8.5 42mm are 225/35ZR19. Rears are 20x10 38mm 285/25ZR20 and those are the ones rubbing and hitting the fender hard.
Also, what about a 20x9 +38? Few places said 20x9 would clear the fender/breaks without having to roll the fender.

I think you'd be better served by purchasing wheels that fit instead of trying to make something that wasn't meant to fit.

forget about any rear wheel that has less than 45 offset.
Even with a 45 offset rear you would need to run a 255 tire to "maybe" clear the outer fender so no gain in rubber on ground.
With option 2 above you can run 245/35x19 on front and 275/30x19 on rear, No Rubbing.

yeah, I’m trying to get option 2 as the setup on my car... prob is, I’m in a Legal battle with the shop I purchased them from... basically they said the 20x10 +38 would work... it dosnt, they mounted everything and then made me sign prior to even looking at the vehicle... it obviously sticks out of the fender and is slapping anytime I go over a bump... they raised my car 3 inches with spacers as a bandage and it’s still slapping the fender.. there refusing to refund even though they provided the wrong measurements and are saying my shocks are cut

That shop sound like a bunch of *******, they have absolutely no idea of the offsets for a W204 C63.
You might get away with a 8" x 38mm offset on the rear but no way a 9 or 10" wheel.
Good luck.

I don't know why but finding the right fitting wheel seems imo way harder than it should be for the w204. Such a limited selection unless you go custom.
Hope you can get them to work with you on this, I'm in the boat of getting new wheels and honestly I'm over it, I can see why you went and trusted a shop but there is so much contradicting information for what fits these w204's it's not even funny.
Not to mention that "wheel Thread" is such a waste of time with no one putting ET's in and all. It's like ok you can run 19x9.5 but what offset, spacer needed who knows but look at that pic lmfao.

Just pull the rear fenders 1/2”, it’s not a lot of work. Or get adj camber arms to pull the top in a bit. All this back and forth and legal blah blah is going nowhere. Next time educate yourself first, and always check your car with your own eyes before signing anything. Lesson learned hopefully.

But anyways, Cwagon’s recommendation would be the best bet. You should let your shop knows that they provided you the wrong wheel set up and obviously they’re rubbing hard on the rear. Tbh, I really think that the shop is referring on W205 C63 OEM fitment. Tell them that you’re exchanging your wheel set up to these following specs.
F 19x8.5 +42 (245/35/19)
R 19x9.5 +48 (275/30/19)
F 19x8.5 +42 (245/35/19)
R 19x9.5 +48 (275/30/19)

what about the 19x9.5 +50? Or is that to much? I’m trying to get this second set right haha... also, there refusing to work with me saying “no refunds on mounted tires and wheels.” I’m going to be talking to the owner today, but, there being shady. I already filed a complaint with the department of automotive repair.

So if you’re running any Michelin/Pirelli/Continental tires do +50 offset on the rear otherwise, do +48 offset.

If you stick to +50 on rear you won't have any problems with what ever brand tire you use in 275/30x19.
+48 might give you a more flush fit but if you choose a tire that is a little wider than the rest it may rub then your back to square 1.

A +38 will have your wheel/tire combo sticking out a further 10-12mm than a +48/50 combo.
Try and get your head around this. "20x10 +38 285/25ZR20" . WILL NOT FIT. on a W204 C63 chassis.
Btw the W204 c63 does not have air suspension.

sorry, double checking... the shop has it right now trying to align it to see if that works... there going around in circles with me no matter how many times I tell them... there saying the wheel company is assuring them a perfect fit

You may get away with trimming the plastic bumper clip where it attaches to the rear quarter. That’s always the first place it rubs unless you’re just way off.

Do yourself a favor and learn how to use an offset calculator.
https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Whee...et-Calculator#
As a baseline, I run 19x10” rear wheels with a +52 offset and they’re perfect.
(you’ll find that your questioned offset may work, but you’re wasting a ton of room)

my question other question is... will I be good with the 20x9 +38... I know I’ll b fine and not hit the fender... will it be flush? Will I destroy my wheel well daily driving? I’m not tracking the car, but, I do like pushing the car... instead of the digs, I need help... I’m not trying to be a bother with this whole thing, I don’t know much about cars but I’m trying to learn it... this is a 2100 mistake... cheaper if I drop to the 20x9s

It was an honest answer. I’m trying to help you to help yourself and learn rather than be spoon-fed the correct answer (as well as incorrect ones). Knowledge on how offset works among other things will enable you to determine for yourself who is right and who is an idiot without having to check here every six minutes.
If you plug into the calc a spec like mine which is dead flush, and your proposed offset, you will see that it extends 1mm further out but you’ll have 27mm extra space to the strut. Not ideal but it’s your car man.
