2014 c63 30k km engine light on. Please help. Thank you
Just got this beautiful white C63 last Friday. And on the following Thursday the engine light came on.
P0023--continuous camshaft adjustment(left) : incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft.
P0410-malfunction of secondary air injection at right bank of cylinder s( function chain )
Please help. It's my dream car and I finally got myself in one after so many years.
Thank you so much.

Have you tried clearing the codes and see if they come back? Do you know the history of the purchased vehicle? Has it had mechanical problems and repairs prior to you ownership?

The service history is good. Don't know if it had any mechanical problems before tho.

Same, full service history. And a full service about two weeks before I bought it.
I had different error codes to you. When I cleared them, they came back about 25 miles later.

The P0023 usually means a bad cam adjuster, pretty low miles for one to go bad but does happen. Could also be the sensor/sensor plug although the sensor usually give a different error. The Secondary Air issue can be a few things, you would have to sort of trace it all out make sure the pump is working and follow the lines, there is a vacuum actuated thing on the front of the intake manifold that is sometimes the issue, search the forum for the codes many others have had the issues.
That being said, you just bought it, those codes are unrelated, so seems they were probably cleared and then came back after a few drives, I would be taking it back to the selling dealer and have them fix it, both could be non trivial to fix if the errors come back.

I asked for Goodwill on mine at 38k miles (2014 507) and Mercedes paid for the rattling cam adjusters (I had no errors) but they paid for all the parts, so was relatively cheap to get 4 new adjusters as I only paid to install. So if you need cam adjusters they are a known failure point and Mercedes may be willing to provide some compensation to fix, Good Luck.

I'm responsible for 40% cost contribution of the parts required to fix the problem, due to the age/mileage of the car. Warranty will pay labour costs. It’s also a £50 charge just to make a claim through the warranty company.
I’ve got mine being looked at on Wednesday. Depending on how much it costs to fix it, anything under maybe £100 to £150 to fix and I’ll just pay it myself.

Check the warranty company agreement. The dealership sold me 2 years warranty last week with a private warranty company when I bought my C63, but it’s not as comprehensive as I thought. I was never told until I read the small print.

My car ironically just had the same code but on the other side for P0224. The car drives fine. I have a feeling it will be a simple hose or sensor replacement. Only difference is I am at 137000 km's so these things are expected. The cars engine bays do get pretty hot so if a hose is touching the intake manifold it could melt.
As for the camshaft code you'll have to let us know how that plays out.
