That adhesive is good stuff. Like you said, blue tape surroundings and use a toothpick or stir stick to shove it into the crevice and then put some encyclopedias on it for a day to dry or over night....you still do have your encyclopedias don’t you?

Instead of messing around with trying to get adhesive glue under it, whey don't you just take it off and re-apply the 3m tape and put it back on - you can just use fishing line to quickly cut the existing adhesive tape then clean it all good remove the old tape and re-apply probably take a couple hours but will be done right.

That took me several hours the first time and with just removing off the car properly. Doing this would also include getting it off the spoiler properly.

I swear I was going to suggest the exact same thing but didn’t know if op wanted to go through that. If it’s lifting, 3M tape and adhesion promoter needed to be added properly....it shouldn’t lift if done right.....but if you got just the corner to stick and lay down right, perfect then. Love the rusted rocket head!
Well that worked out pretty well. Two wrongs made a right. I used Gorilla clear sealant which is not really an aggressive adhesive but, despite my best effort, a fair amount squeezed out onto the lid , but was very easy to remove with the sharp end of a trim tool.
