What major repairs have been done? Headbolts? Cam adjusters? Lifters?

I'm at 102k and eliminated my commute, so I think I'm going to try and stretch mine out a few more years.

I think you found the secret sauce, the rest of us barely drive these things and all kinds of stuff seems to break, seems the secret is to just drive it!

Have never had to do any of the listed repairs or replacements. The biggest repair was the infamous intake manifold corrosion that caused cracks.

How are the upward facing ball joints on the front LCA?

As a matter of fact one side is squeaking a little but no clunks yet and visually it looks fine but I will definitively replace the whole arm eventually.

If the ball joint is still ok, try and get some grease in there. The arms are expensive.

What were the symptoms of the intake manifold cracking? How much did it cost to repair?

You will need a proper heavy-duty lithium complex grease made for ball joints. White lithium you use to lubricate door hinges and hood latches won't cut it.

Rough engine idle. Limp mode. Not much because I bought the upgraded aluminum throttle body plate kit that RMT sells for a couple hundred.
