2013 C63 Car stalling at red light.

Had it happen for the first time in my 14 507 the other day, never had an issue in 2.5 years of owning it - was driving it a bit hard in S+ and then M and switched it back to C at a light and died dead and didn't want to restart, put it in park and said it wasn't in P put it back in D then P and it worked and took a few tries to start it back up - super weird but seems to happen a lot. Checked codes and car had no codes to indicate anything went wrong on mine.
In my case I think I put it from M to S+ while I was still moving and not fully stopped, manual says to not do this
Only change from automatic drive program C, S or S+ to manual drive program M when the vehicle is stationary.

UPDATE: Car died on me twice in one trip. Once in "C", and once in my garage in "S+". So apparently, my fix wasn't a fix after all. The hunt continues.
Regards,
Joe.

for the aftermarket tune guys...same thing, but as most if not all shelf tunes do not actually adjust fueling, your fueling generally is way off the mark and the above stated items are accentuated even further.
stock guys, if your fuel trims are more than +/- 5 at idle, you have an air leak from PCV, throttle body mounting plate, or other. tuned, guys...can't help you as i didn't build the tune for you, but generally speaking shelf tunes are usually off by +/- 12 or more. this combined with an air leak does not allow the ECU enough of room for error to correct fueling since fueling is already way off. in turn what occurs is the engine dies when in a perfect situation, the computer will raise the rpm by 50 or make a micro adjustment to fuel.
