The best mufflers for the C63. Help.

Hello guys. Please tell me which mufflers are best installed on the Mercedes C63 507? Now I use MBH headers with x-pipe and stock mufflers. I want to replace the stock mufflers. Which brand is better to install with MBH?

You have the perfect exhaust set-up already. But it depends what sound you want.

I think my Magnaflow 12198’s with dual 4” tips sound f’ing amazing, but they do require a *little* bit of work to fit...

What do you think of Supersprint mufflers? Does anyone use them on C63?

Why do you want new ones? Is something wrong with yours? It comes down to personal preferences of course, but, you really have the best mufflers in there already.

However, if you're simply just looking to get different mufflers make sure you take out the OEMs in a clean way. You can sell them for whatever your new mufflers cost and then some probably.

C63 mufflers go for about $1k a pair. The 55 guys love them and will pay.

Since the C63 "mufflers" are amplifiers, it's probably way too loud for him with that setup.

I sort of figured that. But if that's the issue I'm going to be putting a resonator or secondaries back in before I touch the mufflers that give this car it's signature sound. Hell, I'd even ditch the MBH headers before letting go of the mufflers.

Alex has been here for a little I think, or at least it's a recognizable name to me (I used to be purpleheartamg so still recognize some of you guys) and I figure he'd know what he was getting into running headers and ditching secondaries / resonator. But (and OP obviously I don't know if this is the case for you or not) it's always funny to me when people go "loud? Yeah, I like loud" and then the C63 goes "Okay, how about this loud?" and people come back saying "No, no, not that loud jesus" and end up putting cats back in haha.

I miss this car. Sad.

Anyway. If I was a 55 guy I'd be pm'ing Alex by now with an offer on the mufflers haha

Purple! You need to get back in one of these dude. How's the E63 treating ya?

(and yeah, the Magnaflows are like next level LOUD if you can believe it)

I hear ya. I've had people tell me at the track it's so loud that they can't hear their own car when I go by at WOT down the straight

Straight pipes to rez sounds amazing.

Sold the E a couple years ago now. Don't want to derail here too much but I have been looking for whats next. I have seriously looked at w204s (which would be my 3rd) based on 2 simple facts. 1. They are reliable (basically the most reliable v8 vehicle across the board and I'm talking like all cars here). 2. They are a LOT of fun. Not that fast anymore considering, but there is just something about this car you can't explain until you drive it. If I did, I'd want a facelift sedan with under 50k miles that has the performance pack, headlights, and an LSD. They either don't exist or have been mutilated by some kid who upgraded to a c63 from a Honda Civic because they are cheap now. Or they have aftermarket mufflers haha jk jk.

Haha if there is one thing a c63 can be it's the loudest car on the planet. Idk how you straight pipe guys do it. At most I had secondary cat / res delete with the v7 "pops" tune or whatever and that was plenty. My E63S was louder than my C but that's just because it's easier to mod and I had downpipes in that.

Anyway, sorry OP. Hope you get what you're looking for and back on topic I do know supersprint has been in the game for a long time too so I'd just their parts. But when it comes to exhausts and sound you know as well as we do that it comes down to how your ear hears things and not ours.

I have Carven TR mufflers with catted ARH LTH's. I can't honestly say they sound better or worse than anyone else's setup, but I love the overall sound. As a bonus, the are very straight-through and only weigh 6 lbs each.
