vendors getting obnoxious
Can we limit these clowns to one thread bump per day, and only one thread. I don't need to see 6 threads about the same wheels. I understand advertising but when your first thread still doesn't have much traction recreating another and bumping the other isn't a good solution. It's obnoxious. They're also literally in every different model thread too. I get it tough times but chill out.

It’s quite annoying.
it’s not like if someone is in the market for a set of wheels or headers they would jump on the first thread and buy what’s advertised. Usually I do a little search and comparison before I buy something for more than $1k.

Wouldnt buy from one of the vendors here as I ignore all their posts anyway because of the constant spamming.

They keep showing other year models with wheels and suspension which means absolutely nothing to me.
If I were interested, I would want to see what it looks like on a W204 C63 .

I agree 1000% and they are becoming a real pain in the a***e. A pity for the C63 lovers and owners.
I prefer following the W202 C36/C43 AMG page as we don't get those types on there.

Totally agree, I just try to ignore them all too, but it is a pain when half the post on the first page are just vendor sale threads and you have to dig through them to find the useful threads. i am all for vendors making money and telling us what they have but it is bordering on a spam problem at this point.

I counted for fun currently on the first page how many threads each vendor has active
JBSpeed - 2
AR_Motorwerkz - 4
Motorsports LA - 4
Vibe Motorsports - 3
VRP - 4
OE - 1
Need4Speed - 2
Shardul - 1
And 21 of 50 posts are vendors on the first page, so basically half of page 1 is vendor posts.

The W205 AMG guys recently had a big thread about the same thing. Strangely I can’t find it now.
Personally, I feel that if you need to spam the forum relentlessly to hawk your products without participating in discussion one bit (nevermind using a W204 pic at least), I’ll never buy. Plenty of vendors choose to actively engage with members, both good and bad, and those are the kind of businesses worth dealing with.
It is getting harder to ignore with half of the front page posts from vendors, and that’s contributing to the decline here.

Almost as annoying as all the posts about the watered down "AMG" line of cars too LOL, but really, if you can't scroll past the vendors you have a real first world problem.
"My new AMG C43" or "My new AMG C400" or take your pick!
"But Mercedes Benz badged them that way waaaaaaaa!"

This is an ongoing issue and I agree that it detracts from the car forum experience. I'd like to offer two suggestions. First, direct these type of threads to the forum that IB monitors: https://mbworld.org/forums/suggestions-feedback-12/
Second, send a civil and respectful pm to the vendors that are overloading your forum with sales threads. Coming directly from members (potential customers), I wouldn't be surprised if they're receptive to your request.

I think it's too much, absolutely obnoxious. The ads at times take over the entire forum. Personally I will never open one of these and would rather give my business to someone else. I really think this falls back on admins needing to fix this. It's a real inconvenience to members.
