Obligatory shot of my track car.
Myself and a bunch of track guys run a RAM mount with suction cup. Doesn't move at all and it is really well built

I heard those were good too. I was afraid it would block access to buttons and I have had a bad history with ball joints on mounts.

do you think you could get anymore weight out of it? is all of your HVAC still existing under the dash?

For the guys running race pads:

My Carbotech XP10/XP8 didnt come with pad shims. Original shims don't fit them either.
Did you guys cut the original one to fit, or run no shim? Ideally I'd want something there..

I run no shim with Carboteh. We pack the cable and sensor on the upside. I will remove all the wiring and disable it later

Havent had a full shakedown with this setup yet since COVID re-shut down our local racetracks.

Some changes I'll be doing eventually:
Square 255/35/18 (likely Nankang AR-1)
Weistec transmission pan
Oil catch can

Sven oil cooler
Which model number did you use for the whiteline adjustable end links? You have to go shorter with the fronts and stock size rears?

I'm sure it can get into the 3100lbs range. Yeah, all the HVAC stuff but the blower motor is still in there. I may yank the dash over the winter so I can pull all that stuff out. Then figure out mounting for the cluster, gauges etc.

Taking 700lbs out of it makes a MASSIVE difference. I've been asked more than once at the track what stage blower I have lol.

Hoping to post on here soon. RMM is the closest track to me as long as it opens in time and covid doesn’t **** the bed anymore than it already has. Planning trips to Castrol in Edmonton hasn’t really panned out being 3 hours away. Awesome info so far and hopefully looking at being able to share some data points on here too once my experience on track matures a bit more.

I thought the nut was 12mm not 10mm?

Also did you not have to go for a shorter front with being lowered? As that looks like a stock size drop link when not lowered.

hey guys, where are you currently buying your Carbotech's? since i'm full fat full weight E63, i'm going to opt for XP12's. the XP10's were great, but would be even more great if i had 500lbs or more less than what i currently have. also plan to add those AMG GT Sedan air deflectors and remove dust shields as them brakes were hotttttt.

I don’t remember the nut size being an issue.

It is a shorter end link.
