Rattling when cold
Hi all,
I know this has probably been covered 1000 times but I cant find a guide on here. My car rattles on light throttle when I start it in the morning and occasionally when its warm when used around town, I think this may be the cam adjusters so I'm keen to replace them. I'm pretty handy with tools and have worked on all my cars. Is there a guide on here about how to go about doing the job,
Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks!

Sounds like cam adjusters and they are pretty easy to replace, there is also a repair kit for them at half the price of new and that will fix it likely better than new. https://www.63motorsports.com/m156-s...haft-adjusters
Otherwise all you need it basic hand tools and a cam timing tool which is under 100 bucks on amazon/ebay.
