holy hell man....i bet that thing isn't even accurate. i'd highly recommend OP pickup a legit datalogger. as much as i think this device is more show than go... https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/690726 Garmin has what you're looking for. but if you plan to really use your data, a true performance datalogger would be ideal.

i've just retrofitted this onto my BS as well, one of the last hurtle to get over is getting the tiny indicator on the AMG button to light up when the program turns on

You need to activate the Drive Unit via diagnostic equipment. At first, my button did the same. Now everything is fine.
The part # above for the control unit A 000 900 66 04 actually is replaced by a new part # A 000 900 22 06 both of which has no stock anywhere.
yup, that unit has been NLA (no longer available) from MB for years, I've literally bought myself an Edition 507 a year ago, just to farm this control unit out of the car, then took a slight loss on selling that donor 507 without this feature..
not sure if anyone else will go that extra length like I did, but it was a last-resort in my case, since i've not had the luck of sourcing the control unit for over a year.

I bought mine a little over 2 years ago, so I am trying to find all of these things to add to the vehicle that were not added from factory or the previous owner did like this, but running into things that are no longer available. I was just able to piece together the 44O kit before all the parts were NLA. but that was a lot of work

I've assembled the entire 44O set. I ordered each part separately. It took a long time, but it finally happened! 🤘🏼😎
