Is K-Mac a good choice?

The camber of the left front wheel on my 2015 507 sedán cannot be adjusted to fall comfortably within specifications. Car has been thorughly checked for any kind of suspension, steering or frame damage and is ok. I understand alignment in these cars is a known problem. I have been reading in the forum and am contemplating contacting K-Mac for assistance. I would like to find the solution that deviates the least from OEM, and is as permanent as possible (car´s alignment went fron all square in the green to barely in the green on front left camber in 8,500 miles), so considering the simplest K-Mac bushing front camber only kit. Your views on K-Mac and other suppliers that you could recommend would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Best,

Hola. Me and a few other folks went through this recently if you look back a couple weeks, and historically many long time members have also offered their detailed input (I link to a lot of those posts in my note on Phil_T's thread, IIRC).

None of the choices are silver bullets. That said, Kevin has really impressed me with his communication and willingness to help. It's nice to know the same commitment is going into the product. I should soon have the front camber plates (stage 2) installed on my car to fix some big time camber problems myself. The bushing kits have more mixed reviews; I can't speak to those.

My two cents would be to go with the camber plates. They hold alignment better and are easier to adjust

Yes 2 Front options for all W204 models....

1. Replacement top Strut mounts Camber & Caster adjustable (from engine bay).
STAGE 2 (Street / Race) #503016-2L STAGE 3 (Full Race) #503016-3L

2. 4 Lower arm / highest wearing bushes which are precisely Camber and Caster adjustable #502616K.

These very latest design, new generation bushings nothing comes close re the key 4 features – Strength, Maximum adjustment range and both Quickness and Accuracy of adjustment.

Also producing and much in demand similar kits for the later W205 popular C63S models.

The forward facing Caster bushes are Monoball / 2 Axis also significantly improving brake and steering response !

For the budget conscious (Camber only kit) #502616-1G at $295 (Both sides). Designed to fit without need for arm removal.

FOR THE REAR:

3. Lower arm Camber (and extra Toe) bushes like front are precise single wrench adjustable #502126K.

4. Upper Camber arms (and extra Toe). Not soft extruded aluminum or welded / fabricated steel but hi-strength forged alloy same as OEM #502226-1M

Thanks Kevin for the information. What I am concerned with and the reason why I want to stay as OEm/original as possible is the terrible condition of roads down here. I am trying to ensure, as much as possible, a permanent fix, as much as durability, and dirivability. I do not want to change parts every 8,500 miles! How would your products, in a strictly street use scenario, but in bad road conditions, work within these parameters?

Best,

Best,
Hi Re “terrible conditions of roads”. In your situation for Front would be #502616-1G $295.

This kit is Camber only. These KMAC bushes having more then 2 ½ times the load bearing impact area of any other brand.

While #502616K kit includes Caster bushings which are designed to also provide “tauter response / reduce flex” (to improve brake and steering response).

Rear kit recommend #502126K $480. Providing Camber adjustment also for the 1st. time (and extra Toe). Same as front this kit also 2 ½ times load bearing, impact area.

Both kits designed to be fitted without need for arm removal and precise single wrench adjustment (under load direct on alignment rack).
