Deadlyvt build
Finally getting around to posting some of what I’ve been up to on the car. Had a bunch of parts I finally found time to install this spring and the car is quite a lot more enjoyable to drive since
- upd rear adjustable arms( ground off part of the frame that they rub on )
-ece race poly engine and transmission mounts
-vrp headers. from the headers I built a complete 3” system with an x pipe into dual vibrant resonators and then back into the factory mufflers. May delete the for more volume if I feel like it needs it but I’m happy with it. Has a deep and loud bite to it when you get on it and super quiet when you aren’t. Feels significantly faster at the top end especially. Still need a tune. Was going to do it myself as I usually don’t like off the shelf or crappy tunes but it seems Barry is a solid guy so may go with him and save the time and headaches of learning this platform.
Preciously I installed a 3lb lithium battery which I may need to replace with something in the 6lb range as it needs to be plugged in all the time and disconnected from the terminals if you park it off a trickle charger for more than an hour or so. I also installed the sdw thrust arms and may do the lowers in the near future. Plan on doing some kws at some point. See how long until I feel like I need more power but for now I’m happy with it.

Nice list of mods, if your car has the Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) make sure you unplug it or your alternator will have voltage charging issues. I went through the same thing when I replaced the OEM battery with a 10lb lithium-ion battery, after disconnecting the IBS sensor everything went back to normal. Now I can leave the battery off the charger for weeks and the car always starts up instantly.

Updates, mainly maintenance... new tires, new injectors and picked up a set of 63 motorsports adjuster plates to install at some point.
change don't battery out to an antigravity atx-30 and so far super impressed. Light and a lot of starting power. I don't daily my car and my old battery would be too weak to start after about 24-36 hours. This one has started right up even after 9 days between driving. Will be leaving it on a trickle charger in between but wanted to see how it would do with extended starting intervals

Updates. Been super busy the last year or so... haven't driven or done as much as I would have liked. But got around to ordering the KW club sports finally from 63motorsports (shoot him an inquiry if you are thinking about KW's I got a great price). Jan lives in the same city as I do so he even hand delivered them. He also lent me his wheel weight scales to dial in the weights. One problem when I lowered the front suspension to get the weights to balance I'm now touching on the spring perch. So now need some spacers and converting to wheel studs, absolutely hate taking the wheels off and on with the bolt system on these cars. Mufflers were sold so now going to rebuild the rear section sans mufflers.

Finally got the height dialed in and the corner balance finished. Thankfully Jan hasn't needed his weight scales back yet 😂. Pretty happy with the result got as much weight as I could shifted to the back end, should help with some traction as well as cornering improvements. Need to get some more weight out of the front end as all my weight reduction so far has been in the rear. Took a picture of my weight after getting the rear set (this was take 4 on getting more weight to the rear. Originally had it slammed and only had 20% weight on each rear). I didn't take a final picture but with me in the car after setting the front end I got it down to 27.1% front on each wheel and 22.9 on each rear.
