Garages! Lets see yours!
Hi everyone,
I have decided to redo my garage and make it a much nicer space!
I am considering a few options for the floor. Leading the pack is some very large high gloss porcelain tiles, behind that
is a epoxy ( which would require me to redo the entire garage floor as its cracking , which is going to get very expensive ),
and lastly maybe the rubber tiles/matt.
Looking for inspiration! Show me what you guys have at home!

Tiles always crack eventually no matter how well they are laid. I like smooth painted concrete in a light colour so you can see things when you drop them. Then you can make it look new ever couple of years with a couple of gallons of heavy duty workshop floor paint. Epoxy is great....but lots of money. Money no object?....I'd have the marble style floor like they have on the floor in supermarkets!

Had mine done about a month ago, done by a local company but the product is polyurea coating by Penntek. Was about $4200 including repairing one crack , work was done in a day, good warranty terms.
My folks have tile in their garage for a while now, they are happy with it but it seems a bit more work to keep clean to me, so I went this route.

Our concrete was in pretty bad shape before from years of freeze/thaw conditions and salt damage.
Had a company come out and grind everything down and seal all the cracks. They then put on a polyaspartic coating. We'll see how it holds up....

I also went polyspartic (epoxy base and polyspartic top coat to be specific). I can not recommend enough to have a pro do it. They will measure the moisture in the floor, properly patch cracks and diamond grind the floor before starting. I considered the plastic tile thing but they are noisy, trap dirt, expand/contract and can't handle jacks or lifts.

I redid my garage last year—painted the walls, added cabinets and lifts and coated the floor. I looked at different tile options before deciding on resinous epoxy. It wasn't a whole lot more than tile—about $2500 for a three car with a fifteen year guarantee. They did a proper "diamond cut" prep of the floor (as opposed to acid/etch wash) which as with paint is the key to the coating adhering to the surface. I'm super happy with the result, it's easy to clean and really transformed the garage. I'd definitely prefer it to tile or any of the modular systems.
My only problem is still no space for the C63…

I see I have a twin in Canada! Nice car.
I did a concrete epoxy, hasn't held up very well in the year I've had it. Got to clear up the garage and redo it soon, thinking about doing a white marble epoxy look.

Spent saturday cleaning out a spot for my Jeep buggy's new roommate. Then she arrived Sunday evening! 2011 P31 sedan with long tube headers and V7 tune. I smiled all the way to work today!

I completely forgot about this thread. it just so happens i finished phase 1 of my garage make over last week!
I am still deciding on the floor, im leaning towards racedeck / swisstrax, but its hell expensive as I cant get it locally, i have to
import, and shipping just pushes the price through the roof.
Here is the before and after:
