Hi Y'all,
I will be the new owner of 2013 C63 AMG. I came from 2013 E92 M3ZCP. I sold the car because I was looking for a 4DR NA V8. Couldn't find one until today.
I thought about the IS500 that will be coming out soon but couldn't pass up on the 2013 C63 AMG with 50K miles. Clean 2 owner, no accident and have detail service records from MB dealerships.
What should I be looking at or concern about since this car have 50K miles and 2 owner, unlike my M3 (bought it only with 10K miles, 1 owner)?
Any suggestion on what mods I should be installing on the car? (tires, other important must upgrade things)
I'm very new to this AMGs.
Recommendation or suggestions is appreciated.
I decided to get the warranty from shift for either 3yrs or 4yrs which is cost about $4K. I think it's worth it (I did the same thing when I bought my M3).
Thanks

Stuff that will need to be changed sooner or later depending on wear:
plugs - recommended at 60k but mine weren't bad at all. Probably could have got another 10k out of them. There are only 8 plugs in this instead of 16 like previous gen motors.
PCV valve - Prone to leaking, most take the whole manifold off to change as there isn't much room to do it otherwise. You'll need to replace the manifold gaskets, 10 bolts that hold it down are 1 time use as they are torque to yield.
Injectors - Preventative as some will get stuck open and flood which may lock the engine. It's happened to some. I changed mine at around 68k. The old ones looked kinda nasty for always running 93 octane
Pulleys - OEM ones are plastic and may seize. People usually change them proactively between 60-80k
Trans/Diff service - called for every 40k, some do it sooner.
Other than that, just change the oil. I do mine around 4k. I'd be surprised if you have the original battery on a 2013 but I just replaced mine.

Check out THE OFFICIAL W204 AMG FAQ
Mods - browse through The Official C63 AMG Picture Thread and see what looks good (also look at their signature, might have more info). Diffuser, spoiler, front lip, interior carbon pieces, wheels, vinyl wrap chrome,....etc. The modding will probably follow similarly to the BMW scene of things you can change.
Tires - Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are great (tires don't last long on the C63 though).
Lots of vendors on the forums, just do a search of the part you are looking for and you'll be able to see which one everyone uses the most.

also, I’m new at this Mercedes group, any suggestion on website to buy upgrades or mods?
I usually use Turner or known parts for my BMW, but looks like it’s little harder for Mercedes.

yes. I’m looking for BBK either stop tech or Brembo but can’t find any of them available.

You shouldn't need to completely switch out the brakes. The most that it will need/replacement is the rotors & pads. Though RacingBrake does make a some kits for the C63 if you wanted to do a full overhaul (a tad bit more $$$ though)

Welcome and Congrats,
Starting Mods,
LTH Headers
Mid Pipes
X pipe
ROW Boxes
larger injectors
E85
CatchCan
tune from Barry
Maintenance is like any other car really. I’ve done it all between 40-50k miles. Keep in mind that my car ran perfectly fine. With exception of IM leak at the brake booster line. I changed out the PCV, TB Plate, Sparks, Plugs, Belts and pulleys, Filter, Larger Injectors, etc… just because I’m a nut. Then you’re good for another 50k, subjectively.

thanks. I will look into doing all the maintenance early. The car have a good history from the dealer so will see if I need to replace anything now.
