Why So Slow?
Hi All,
First post here and have been lurking around gathering all sorts of great info. I wanted to reach out and ask why you all think I may be so slow in the 1/4? I bought the car with a v4 Eurocharged tune on it and used that as my baseline.
It's a 2010 C63 with 90k miles on it
Base line run with Eurocharged V4 tune right when I got the car. Also no resonator and bald rear tires
* 12.65 at 111mph
Updates:
* Head Bolts
* PCV valve
* Spark Plugs
* Tappets/Lifters
* VRP LTH no cats
* V7 EuroCharged Tune
* New Rear Falken Azeni 660 Tires for grip
Best Time: 12.35 @ 113
Now I am keeping it at full weight car, which includes a rear baby seat and 1/4 gas (93octane) as I wanted to know what I would run on the street and every day use.
A bit disappointed as I was hoping to get closer to the high 11's or 12 flat with all the work done to it but always room for improvement.
If you all have ideas on what to check, change, improve on I'm all ears

Yeah thats definitely slow.
For comparison I have Chinese headers, OE box tune, running pump gas, full weight, trapping 122.5mph.
Sounds like you need to get ahold of @hachiroku

My method for "launching" is as follows. Figured that should help paint the picture too
1) turn off all nannies
2) Sport mode
3) Brake to floor
4) Gas and hold RPM's around 2k
5) off brake and floor it. limited to no wheel spin

I wouldn't even say the time is the problem, but more so the MPH, MPH = power.
Given the V7 tune, and supporting mods you're not making the power you should.

shelf tunes inherently are hit or miss. in addition, as milage goes up, tune differentiation varies quite drastically which further accentuates any concerns with tune not being correct/accurate.
regarding your logged times, this is what a factory C63 should be running on factory tune.
