Can any of you astute w204 C63 pros tell me if the wheels on this c63 are factory AMG? My research has yielded very little. Thanks a mill for helping a noob.
You can only tell for sure by looking at the markings cast/forged into the back of the wheel. These may look like AMG wheels but there are a ton of fakes out there.
Thanks for the response. So they look like factory AMG wheels (based on design) but they may be fakes. Would need to see the back of the wheel to be certain. Super helpful. Thx !

Are there better photos? Have a link to the for sale ad? You can usually tell by the amg logo on the outside as the fakes are either really poor/incorrect or missing entirely.
Here is an example of the stamping found on the 507 wheels. These were made by Apptech in Italy and also have the MB part numbers on it. The wheels is your photo look like those found on the Edition 1 from 2012. Not sure who made those or how they are stamped, but this should give you an idea what to look for and where.
C63's came with factory wheels as shown but many replica's exist. As mentioned by the members above, you'll need to inspect the casing marks behind the wheel. A simpler method that isn't aways accurate is that on the front of the wheel, some replica's do not say AMG on them as this is a trademark. This doesn't mean replica's don't also have AMG cast on the front of the wheel though, as many still do.
