Valve Tick at my front door
Got faster with light revving. I have to take her in for a service to dealer anyways but I’m quite scared lol.
Tried posting video but won’t let me on here (I’m still new to this forum)
Should I be worried? I have heard valve tick from other motors and this seems pretty loud. At idle I can hear it 30 feet away at my door step.

if it’s something you’re familiar with and want to hear message me I can send it to you.

Weird as there was no sound, car sat awhile, first start and boom very loud tick.

I really haven’t driven it or started it in about 3 months.
Dropping it off for some work soon so I’ll let it warm up, get on it a bit and just keep watch on all temps and sounds.
Thank you so much
look up 63motorsports for solutions.
The camphaser isn´t leaking and dropping pressure when running, the solenoids control that.
And by this i mean that inside the campulleys there are constant oil that acting like a 'pillow' for the 'star' inside to rest on.
Only at no oilpressure they are making noise, thereby the noise when the 'pin' is bad at startup.
The pin is there to keep rattle away before oilpressure has filled the gears.
Most certanly the posters noise is valvebuckets that are beginning to loose pressure when standing still due to dirt inside.
Or the buckets plain simple has gone bad.
Also the injectors can sound a little, but not that much.
As someone wrote, if sound is going away after say a warmup and a soft trip around the block there is nothing to worry about, change the oil for a known good oil that keeps deposits flushed away inside.
You can if you want flush the engine with something like Motul 8100 X-Clean for a while before making a oil change to what you trust.

That being said if it doesn't go away I’ll post back and let ya’ll know. I’ve had horrible luck with the car already. ($4000 after buying it with stumped Mercedes techs.)
